I watched the game last night and parts of it again this morning. From the missed tackles to just stupid decisions by the NU players, I seriously wonder about if the "Black Shirts" pulled a "Black Socks".
This UW team, thanks to Michigan State, was operating with a back-up QB. This team, 7-5 and 3rd place in their division, was almost as awful as MSU on offense several times during the season. In Pelini's PC, he said that what UW beat them with were the same plays as what they saw in Lincoln in their first meeting. Nebraska's defense was flat out awful. Perhaps they gave up or were overpowered by a really good RB and WR/TE who will play at the next level (maybe).
Something doesn't add up here and based on what happened to MSU all season long, I really think the fix was in. I'd love to see what the payouts were and who bet on UW. I wonder if the black shirts and the black soul (Delany) came up green.

I thought you were supposed to make it look like you could have won when you're throwing a game?
Nebraska is not THAT bad. Wisconsin is not THAT good. I don't think everybody was in on it. Martinez ran for his life, Burkhead is a solid character and fought for yards, Bell is a good guy and helluva player.
It doesn't add up. 70-31 doesn't add up. The B1G is so corrupt.

Especially if it is true that Pelini had a falling out with his team and staff during the week because he was out interviewing for the Volunteers job.
That team played like a team that the coach had lost...like our 97, 98, 02, and 06 teams.
I agree it's corrupt. I thought Wiscy would get "Delanied" if it was a close game.
Are you suggesting that referees, coaches, and/or players could possibly have affected the outcome of a game on purpose one way or the other? No, surely not in the B1G!

You have completely gone off the deep end with your conspiracy bullshit.
OP is bitter at losing his shirt last night.

I guess we saw that sort of thing happen a play at a time against Michigan State this season so yes, not shocked at all. I firmly believe, as LeVeon Bell and most of our players do, we lost one game this season. Others were decided for us.
I also believe what a previous poster alluded to about team fallout. The players might have quit on Bo. His PC reminded me of Bobby Williams "Did you lose your team?"
Mr. Delany, good to see you!
No Nebraska is just not very good. The Black Shirt defense is the blow-up doll defense. Nebraska will get massacred again in a bowl by a Top 4 SEC team.

The score is a bit hard to believe that in a championship game a team can lose by 39 points to a 5 loss team and give up 70 points. The only reason I don't believe there was a fix is there's no way to keep that many lips quiet. Word would get out I would think and pretty quickly and everyone from the admins to the coaches to the players would face massive penalities. The other factor is Nebraska has laid an egg against UW (and others) before. They lost to OSU by 25 this year and gave up over 60 doing it. Nebraska was down big to Wisky earlier this year and came back and won a tight game at home and then last year they got ran out of Madison. I think Nebraska had a nice schedule which helped them hide their average defense and one man offense for a large part of the year. I just think an average defense and one man show in Martinez really got exposed and for whatever reason and they picked the worst game to do it in. What does blow my mind though is the score. Even if you're not playing well to lose by almost 40 and give up 70 points... that's amazingly awful.

I laugh at the people who think sports are still pure and that nothing shady is going on. There is too much money involved for there not to be!
bang....overrated mofos'. Completely exposed and bent OVER on national TV. They were Ned Beatty and Wisky was the toothless hillbilly: priceless.
^ I see Jim Delany or John Calipari logged in and downvoted. Sweet!
I'm sickened by what happened to us this year with the refs too....it was out of control. BUT, I truly think the Huskers shit the bed last night. They collapsed under the weight of expectations from Husker nation, and make no mistake they can be pretty heavy at times. Wisky had NOTHING to lose and played great. Gordon at RB was awesome and will replace Ball next year without missing a beat unfortunately.
******Remember, Nebraska got hammered out west vs. UCLA and against an O$U team that only scored 17 against us.....that Nebraska D' is light up front and simply couldn't match up vs. a WIsky oline that averaged 320lbs per man. THe husker dline averages 273 per man********
It probably is more of the team quitting on Pelini over the Tennessee stuff than Vegas influence but because of this season, my trust and support of the B1G is at an all-time low.
Any Spartan who supports this conference needs to check themselves. We are not important to the people in the Chicago offices. We had our "chance" and didn't make them enough money apparently. This year, we were punished for it.
I laugh at people who invent conspiracy theories to suit whatever the outcome of the game is.
Just a few weeks ago, people on this board were convinced that there was a vast conspiracy favoring Nebraska, so that the B1G could ensure that they (or UM) were in the Rose Bowl because it would make so much more money.
Don't have to invent anything, I saw it every Saturday this fall. I take it you didn't watch Michigan State University's football team this season.
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
If they're going to investigate anything, it should be the officiating in some of Nebraska's wins that allowed them to get to the title game.

Reminds more of the '98 and '99 teams under Saban. The blowout at Oregon in '98, and both road losses in '99 at Purdue and Wisconsin. Pellini and Saban have similar coaching styles that loses its effectiveness from time to time.
College football is fixed and someone should tell Vegas. They could make a killing.
Good lord, you are fucking retarded! 70-31 games aren't fixed dumbass. You need to readjust your tinfoil hat you fucking moran.
