Just dropped $375 on a new set of surround speakers...so yeah, i guess I'm over it...for what it's worth, klipsch quintet 5.0 speakers $200 off at bestbuy.com....i have been watching for awhile
i'm over it from the standpoint that Duke is the best program in college basketball and was the better team tonight. I'm also over it from the standpoint that we were not going to beat Louisville and there is no real difference between a Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight for this program.
I'm disappointed, but not nearly as crushed as I was the other two times I went to Lucas Oil and felt MSU had the equal or better teams.
I was over it while it was happening. I expected MSU to win, but I wasn't going to be surprised by a loss given the record against Duke. Even if MSU beat Duke, I expected a loss to Louisville. The team just didn't have the will to win this game. They looked tired and I don't credit Duke for that as much as I think MSU just came out flat. Frankly I didn't think Duke looked all that much better, they just had a hot 3 point shooter. I think Duke loses to Louisville.
Give them NOTHING but take from them EVERYTHING.
Disagree. MSU's scoring was like its been all year. Appling with 16, Payne with 14 and Nix with 9.
Harris and Dawson were held to 10 points. Good defense by Duke. Trice had 8 off the bench but Valentine only 4.
Biggest thing was Curry's 29. That was 12 points above his season average and 8 points above his NCAa tournament average. MSU stopped Kelly, he had 9.
The boys had a nice season. Izzo's success has given us high expectations. Izzo expects to be a Sweet 16 team almost every year unless there are multiple players leaving early plus injuries/ unexpected transfers. MSU'S players expect Sweet 16's every season and so do the fans.
Other fans hope to see their team in the round of 32. Some don't see a Sweet 16 for a decade or two. We've got it pretty good.

I was over it when Appling got called for the charge in the second half. Unfortunately after football and a third season in a row ending in the sweet 16 I'm not optimistic about the future.
Wait, I'm being redundant.
It was a fun year, but it's time to move on. I won't even follow the rest of the tournament except to look up scores after the fact. The regular season was so enjoyable and the tournament hasn't been as fun to follow for me this year.
I don't think I'm going to do brackets next year. It's more fun to just watch the games and not care about who I picked.
On to Tiger Baseball and spring!
Hate to say it, but prepare to be disappointed. We lost our two best players, and Maxwell is still the QB.
Over it. MSU had a better season than I thought they would so its been enjoyable. Everyone back but Nix so next year looks good.
The moment is eternal
Went out and ran 2.5 miles this morning, still somewhat buzzed/hungover. If I wasn't so dehydrated I probably could have and wanted to go further. Still pissed off. Shut down my facebook, don't want to deal with assclown central.

Funny, I'm over this game but still not over the no-call on Draymond in the Butler game. I'm not over our bracket screwing, either - think about the red carpet to the ff OSU was given. Frustrating that we had such a disproportionately difficult path. Not over that. Probably able to get over the loss last night a little easier because as much as I wanted it for MSU - and lord knows I did - The last few weeks of the season put a lot of doubt in my mind about our ability to win the whole thing. '09 was a lot more frustrating because we could have won it all.
2009 was Detroit and the bludgeoning by UNC.
I'm not over football title game in Indy, so I understand.
My bad - yes you're correct.
And thanks a lot for reminding me about that football game. I'll never be over that one, either.
Best game I've ever been to, sans about 5 minutes...
It was a tough loss for us.
Michigan winning sucks.
My interest in the tournament has faded quite a bit.
We should have a good team next year and watching the Spartans play is the best thing to happen in the winter.
Now I'm looking forward to warmer weather and the spring game!
Fun season. About met expectations, some might say we overachieved. Some amazing moments, some frustrating.... Next year should be good.
And F it, it's just a game.

I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Over it.. onwards and upwards boys!
Monday might be tough if Louisville loses. There's an asshat Duke flunkie at work. No affiliation to the team.
Oddly enough, my niece (no pic) is a Cameron crazy.
Over it. It says something about how great a program Izzo has built that a Sweet 16 is considered a disappointment.
Over it. I'm too old to let a Sweet 16 loss matter this much. Plus, if Duke didn't beat us then Louisville would have. Silver lining.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
And your mom still doesn't know who your father is nucky.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
