not convinced? Sounded live, at least at the beginning.
tWife thought the opposite: Vogue sounded synched, Like a Prayer sounded live. Or so I'm told. I was taking a shit.
This is a joke, right? I don't think Madonna has sung live in her career (and least not the one or two times I gave a shit to watch--which wasn't tonight).
The Show was HORRIBLE. She can't sing or dance anymore and she tried to pull in other acts to pull it off.
Dr Opti, providing wisdom;one message at a time.
I thought all (or most) of the halftime shows were lipsynced.
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx
It was horrible either way and she can't move anymore like she did.
You guys are the halftime show was one of the best ever!!!!! Who cares if it was "live" or "synced". Get over yourselves.
Even The Boss played to a backing track.
I was never a Madonna fan, so I could only take a few minutes before leaving the room to kill time before the 2nd half. My earlier comment was more of a general observation about SB halftime shows.
That's what my neighbor thought. ( Woman about the same age as Madonna) I brought up lip syncing at our SB party after Madonna was singing perfectly after doing some flips and moves and didnt even have a breath that was out of perfect sync.

There was definitely some heavy backing track going on. You could hear her voice pop out now and then, though.
It was horrible.
I thought the show kicked ass, don't care if she lip synced, her voice isn't that good to begin with. Was very creative, cool and aside from the guy bouncing on the wire I enjoyed the entire thing.
Maybe there is a common thread since I'm only a few years younger.. Woman power
I think you guys are just hating it because it was Madonna. Most halftime shows and such have a heavy backing track and they let the real voice show once in a while to show it's there.
I'm not a huge fan of Madonna but I thought the show, especially the lighting and stuff, wasn't too bad.
it was a gajillion times better than the fucking black eyed peas, that's for damned sure. i didn't find it objectionable at all...about what I expected
Good lord the BEP were awful.
People just want to acknowledge and then jackoff to their "superior" taste in music.
And that wire guy was hilarious.
It was awful. The only thing cool about it was when this guy did this. Not a great video of it but in HD it looked like this guy just had no knee ligaments. It was insane. I wish this would have been the whole half time show.

Why do people expect the Halftime show to do anything other than suck. If the Stones and The Who suck for at halftime Madonna, Aerosmith and Black Eyed PEa's (maybe the worst ever) are gonna suck too. Id rather it be Madonna or someone I don;t care about sucking than see a band I like being forced to play a wack ass set. If it was Eminem his set would be like Ass Like That, That shitty one from Relapse, Without ME and Love the way you Lie.
Who else thought Madge looked hot as hell tonight?
Come on now; Eminem playing "ass like that" live for the superbowl would be hilarious!
I'm not a huge Black Eyed Peas fan or anything, but I liked their halftime show last year. It went from "meh" to "Dude, AWESOME!" when Slash showed up.
This is what it seemed like to me.
Didn't one of the commercials say you could use Shazam on the halftime show to get some remix? Wouldn't it need to be prerecorded to do that?
