we go downtown Grand Rapids to have some drinks and celebrate my passage through the vaginal canal. Anyway I look over and who do I see talking to my friend? None other then Austin Thorton! Soon after Ibok scrolls along and then finally Drew Neitzel.
I'm proud to say Drew was trying to hit on my girlfriend and she totally shut him down. Apparently hes done playing basketball though. Austin was a very cool though, very down to earth and personable. Great night and yes, I know. cool story bro.
Aren't Austin and Ibok working for Spectrum or something? Had no idea Neitzel was back in MI though
Why were they hanging out with Aziz Ansari?
Yes, they both are. He works with one of my friends from high school and thats why they came out last night. Drew told my ole lady hes living in Kentwood right now. It was a pretty cool night.
Poor Ibok though apparently he doesnt drink and all these drunk people were staring at him(come on, hes a 6'11 black guy he kind of stands out) and trying to get pictures with him. He was a pretty cool dude though
Idunk Iblock rockin Polo.
Neitzel may be done playing pro-ball, but he's obviously spending time in the gym. White as the fresh fallen snow.

I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Is it creepy to ask what bar? I want to run into those guys.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
So, the lady "shut him down" in front of you, but still snagged his address and contact info? Smart chick.
Just messing with you - cool pics. Happy belated.

What's a Spartan great doing living in a shithole like Kentwood? My girlfriend is a bartender downtown GR. She said she served Neitzel one time and he was acting like a douche and pulled the "do you know who I am?" card and didn't tip her. Personally, I don't care, because it's Drew fucking Neitzel, but I thought that was interesting
lol Not at all! It was at J Gardellas on Ionia! It was an awesome night, i mean how many people can say they were throwing down drinks with some Spartan greats!
Does the Donger's elbow still bend in the wrong direction?
Neitzel does have a thing for hairy women.
He's nailing your girlfriend.
I call bullshit on that story.
You post here. Clearly, you don't have a girlfriend.
Prolly the last time you'll ever be seen with a huge Idong.
Only conversation I have ever had with Neitzel was while I was blazed at dinner at Snyder Philips cafe and he didn't know what a carne a sada pizza was. True story.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Pics of gf.
You couldn't find a bar better than J Gardellas?
he should get a job with Apple.
What is wrong with Gardellas? It's a pretty good bar.
-1 for no pic of gf
Your girlfriend from Nam?
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Drew, since I know you lurk on here....hit the green arrow in this post if you gave steve's GF the tip while Austin distracted him.
Man, Drew must have a lot of screen names.
that bar was lame in 2001. Do you still have to walk down 2 flights of stairs to go to the bathroom?
in hindsight I should have down voted you as this is clearly a lame attempt at getting upvotes.
Did you see his nose? I can only imagine his lady friend...
And you're 12 years older than you were in 2001 so I'm pretty sure your opinion on what's cool now is no longer relevant to people in their 20s.
