Talked to some of my friends that are Illini grads and they are getting pretty cocky since they canned Weber. Three of my Illini friends seem to think that Cliff Alexander AND Okafor will commit to the Illini.
I told them they crazy. Please tell me I'm right.
So. Fans can think whatever they want.
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
Oh I know but they seem pretty confident that their new coach is gonna reel in both of them. That would be a huge blow to MSU.
I havent been following the recruitment of either of these guys but I saw their highlight reels and they are both unreal.
You should fight them. Winner gets the big recruits to come to the school they like.
Didn't Illinois lose a pretty high rated PG to Notre Dame last year?
I'm not worried
Sweet thread bro.
Oh yeah, well, unless they have a crystal ball I'm not worried........

I think it's foolish to believe it's out of the realm of possibility.
It is not unheard of for a new coach to infuse energy into a program and keep elite talent in state.
That said, I have NO idea if Okafor is even considering Illinois.

I know some MSU fans that think they'll get both. Fans can hope for anything.
Well, they might be right.
The moment is eternal
That's cute, most of the country thinks Cliff Alexander is going to MSU.

Those Illinois fans are jerks and I do not like them. I hope they shart themselves at work today, at the most inopportune moment possible.

I think I'll get Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel to commit to me this summer. I really really have a strong feeling about this.
It was just a mistake;
I didn't mean to let them take away my soul.
Am I too old?
Is it too late?
It's doubtful but possible. It's also still in the realm of possibility that we get Jones, Okafor, and Alexander ourselves. (Though unlikely as well) Illinois is nothing special though. They have to step up significantly to be a player in the recruiting game.
Keep trollin, trollin, trollin.
Maybe they'll go to Butler and play for Mateen Cleaves?
Illinois fans think they are a storied basketball program for some reason.
Are they going to meltdown like Purdue if they don't get them?
They will meltdown, but they aren't going to call Izzo a cheater like those lunatic PU fans do.
Illinois coach John Groce sang the stretch at Wrigley Field yesterday.
I was in attendance, and politely booed him.
I'd shit bricks if both of them went to the Illini cause they would dominate the Big Ten. But yeah I guess its not out of the question for them to be a package deal and stay in state.
I do think Illinois will get a lot better cause it seems like their new coach (that looks like Lex Luthor) actually has a clue on what to do when it comes to coaching the Xs and Os. Not to mention recruiting. Weber was bad at both.
