Nίκη για MSU
A simple "I don't have the faintest clue about hockey" would've sufficed. Ron Mason finished 10th his second season at MSU. Should've fired that guy and saved ourselves the future trouble. Also that Izzo clown went to the NIT his first two years. FIZZO!!!!!!!
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
Awwww that's cute. What whiney little schtick were you again? I have trouble distinguishing the various inbred whiners from one another.
MSU wasn't what it is today in Ron Mason's second season. Hollis hired a league commissioner and now MSU hockey is a joke. Spin that any way you want, but it's downright embarrassing what has happened to this program.
And please don't compare this to Izzo. Izzo was an assistant coach, which made him a viable option. Anastos had no coaching experience unless you count some club team from a few decades ago.
You're right about not comparing the two. One took over for Jud Heathcote and the other for Rick fucking Comley. You clearly have no clue about hockey. You don't have the faintest idea who Lou Schmidt is or what the suburban schools are. Tell me about the Midwest elite league? How about the old MNHL? How about the talent shift from the NAHL to the USHL following the dissolution of Compuware? Did you agree with Chris Coury's "techniques" while with Little Caesars?
Dude, why do I have to talk about hockey recruiting or the talent shift? All I have to do is look at the standings and see how far the program has fallen. Other schools battle the same things, and aren't in last place in the league.
No one denies that Anastos isn't connected. Of course he is. He was the former head of arguably the top or 2nd most important college hockey conference.
Mason screwed up by not hiring Jackson, and Hollis made a risky choice that looks like it is going to blow up in his face. Have you seen how empty Munn has been? No one even cares like they used to because Mason and Hollis didn't put hockey as a high priority.
At least Mason's screw-up still got us a national title somehow, though...

Thing is, this was an important hire. It HAS to work out, because MSU having another season like the most recent is not going to help recruiting against Liar, Hoke, Kelly, et al.
He apparently has never heard, "The best defense is a good offense."
This is exactly the attitude I'm talking about. What OC would have fulfilled your expectations?
Damn, I don't know anything about Roushar, but you guys must have f-ing hated the guy. Dude must really suck if Bollman is the upgrade. The only thing that I can think is that IF he is going to co-coordinate the offense, it may be to help develop a younger play caller. Maybe that's what Danny is going for. That's the only thing I can think of that would make sense. We're all pretty hard on Bolls, but hell, things (at OSU) were just as bad as the sentiment I'm seeing for Roushar.
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
There HAS to be High School talent out there that deserves a shot at the OC job at MSU. Seriously, no sarcasm there. There has to be someone that has shown they can move an offense even if at a lower level. Bollman didn't know what a pass was. He was entirely one-dimensional. The proof is this: After Bolls left, the entire offense returned and did a complete 180 with the same players. I think that speaks for itself. There was actually some talent there and it took someone knowing what to do with it. ou guys have some good O-talent coming in. I hope Bolls doesn't waste it.
Mason did indeed screw up by not hiring Jackson.
This season should not damn Anastos. Lost far, far too much from last year.
Didn't Crean's first couple teams at Indiana suck ass while he rebuilt the program?
agree with this so MUCH I'm going to make a thread out of it Johnny: I couldn't agree with you MORE.....the fuckeyes fans DO hate him, which is good in my book as they are gene pool challenged ass clowns.
