Good Good. I wouldn't be surprised if GRIII stays one more year to put up more shots.
Good good now GR3
Pretty much as expected. No Big deal, it's GRIII that is 50-50 for them. Bitch has already said he will be back for his sophomore season.
"But Taylor Lewan...." Seriously, zero surprise on Burke. Bit surprising that it leaked before their FF presser. Hardaway not a shock, but some thought he might return.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
GRIII is a freak athlete with range. He is probably gone, too.
Weird that its coming out now? and not after the season?
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
His game is better suited for the NBA. If I were McGary, I would consider the jump too because he will have limited years due to his age. Doesn't he qualify for AARP next season?
Yeah, apparently at one point Hardaway said something along the lines of "After all Michigan has done for me, I'm not gonna leave early." Glad to see he didn't follow through with that. Snyder at the FreeP is reporting the same thing too, so it seems legit.

That is unusual. Last time I can recall it getting out prior to the FF for a player participating was Elton Brand. Someone on the agent side of things got anxious, or someone in the kid's family (sounds like Burke's dad may have leaked it). I'm sure everyone at UM knew too, but doubt JB is looking forward to his press conference.
Maybe dad can now buy a new hat.
Are these kids and their families supposed to be talking to agents at all yet? They are still college athletes and I thought this disqualified them.
Hardaway is surprising to me. He's really not that good. Got the pedigree and the size, but that's it. He's a streaky shooter who gets visibly upset after a few misses and, at that point, you can count him out for the rest of the game. It's normally not a good thing when every single analyst doing one of their games says that it's important for Hardaway to get easy looks early.
When he's playing lesser opponents, sure he makes some shots. Against a solid defender, he's a non-factor. Never have been worried about him when we've played them. It's always Burke we had to be afraid of or one of their other 3 point shooters he would dish to. I always felt relieved when I would see Burke pass to Hardaway and watch him jack a 3 that has no chance.
On top of that, he doesn't play defense. But whatever, It'll at least be an added factor for GRIII to consider when he makes his decision. 2 stars gone, does he really want to come back to play with a freshman backcourt?
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
Talking to agents isn't a violation. Signing with an agent or taking anything from an agent are violations.
Surprised about Hardaway. I know half way through the season his stock was pretty high, but hasnt he slipped to mid-late second round now?
Not really. One of the final four teams and solid B1G/National Title contender for next year depending on whether or not they return is kinda big news. Imagine if Cleaves or Peterson would have gone pro after 1999. No title in 2000.
In basketball, these things can baloon on teams. Michigan will be taking a big step back next year, so why would GR3 want to stick around for that. His dad is probably telling him that he can learn the game sitting on the bench in the NBA more than playing in the B1G. If GR3 projects pick #20 or better he'll probably leave.
And gaydar device

A man's gotta eat!
They only would've gone pro if we won the NC in 99
Either way it's 1 NC
Plus, given the NBA's preference to draft on potential it is better to leave now with the scouts and execs imagining what you can become than to stay and limit their imagination.
Doesn't scUM still have at least one game left to play this season? Seems like distractions are mounting.
I agree. That's pretty much my thinking. If Hardaway and Burke are both gone, GR3 has to go too I think. He's got the accolades and awards already in what was a pretty damn competitive year in the B1G for freshmen. As we know, you don't get those awards when you're on a losing team very often.
Way to completely miss my point and change the hypothetical.
Won't matter. Syracuse will lay down for them like every other candy-ass team on their path has so far.
