Francis Howell Central HS in St. Louis does. They have the exact same logo and fight song as MSU. The crowd even does some of the same chants as we do. But their helmet does not have the logo on it like MSU.
So back to the original question, does anyone know if these are being licensed out or not?
Get off my lawn.
We could start being assholes like Wisconsin, and start suing high schools, or we could be like Iowa and go after anything remotely close.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
Salem Rocks in Plymouth uses the MSU fight song. Colors are royal blue and white though, and they use the Prudential logo or a block S.
It's not a matter of being assholes. If an organization doesn't actively defend their trademarks, they could end up losing them. That said, a university doesn't need to sue. They could let the high school license the logo for $1 a year.
I'm just curious what MSU's stance is on it.
Monsignor Pace HS here in Miami uses the logo in some cases. They also have a close version of Gruff Sparty on some things, and a real cheesy, wimpy version of Sparty as a mascot.
In their league, there is also the Belen Jesuit Wolverines, with blow and piss colors, and their helmets have wings.
Lutheran High Northwest.
Go Crusaders of Northwest
wow some of those high schools have as good of equipment as major colleges. You can tell which schools care more about football than any of their other programs.
What if one of those schools actually had that logo before msu?
Knoxville Webb just won the TN Football state championship last night.

Weird. Check out the Spartan t-shirt on the girl 2nd row back, on the right.
Bemis Jr. High uses it. Although when I was there I think we used gruff sparty more than the helmet logo.
Thanks for posting the pic, be back in about15....

I wondered why no high schools used that logo. It would be fought over and is a pretty solid logo if you're trying to come up with a new one.
With regards to the logo issue overall, I'm pretty sure Ball State sued Portland High School (MI) for using their logo.
laconophilia is everywhere...
Pretty sweet, huh!? That school is from the state of Washington. Great work travels far!
Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix is green and white and they use the Spartan BLOCK S on their caps.

Did you discover this when Forbin was visiting?
Grosse Ile HS I think.
When I moved to Central Phoenix I suddenly started seeing a lot of high school kids wearing a green cap with an "S" and I thought, "Wow, are there a lot of Spartan fans here?" and then I realized it was Sunnyslope High School.
Is that the hybrid one that someone from here changed the elephant penis to?
I live in Sammamish, WA which is home to Skyline and 1 block away from the school. I wake driving past the High School with the Spartan flags waving over the sky. It feels like you are a little bit on MSUs campus and they licensed the logo from us. Hoping 1 day I can get Sparty to come to the school. Also to note they are always in the running for football state champs, great sports programs.
We just moved to the area about a year ago and once we saw the school, colors and logo we knew we had to live in the area so we could wear our Spartan gear and fit it :)
Kinda sucks though.
If you only wear the Spartan logo without words, they will just think it is for the High School.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Holy Spirit in Absecon, NJ uses the logo. Their uniforms look like Notre Dames though.
Decatur (MI) uses the fight song
