Popular Channel 4 sportscaster Katrina Hancock announced that she is leaving the station.
Hancock, who has been with the station for six years, said her final broadcast will be next week.
"I've decided to take a break from the business and spend some time with my family," she said in a tweet.

and they spelled Mancock wrong.
I'd hit that.
With a 2x4.
i think the OP misused the term "popular."
Here's the pic you DIDN'T include.
I've always wondered if her nuts were as big as her Adams apple.
UofM has just lost a cheerleader.
She's fucking terrible. Be prepared for her to cover MSU Iowa games at noon starts on ESPN 2 someday
Reminds me of the large lady in Deuce Bigelow when someone yells out "that's a big bitch."
"The circus must be in town!"
Cool, now we can feel big again.
Lomas Brown and Herman Moore
She's almost 6' 5" Played basketball for Kansas. I'd hit it...
That makes one of us.
Later dude, take care.
I believe she played basketball at Bradley.
Glad to see she's heading back to the amazon to be with her family.
You guys are mean, can't you just wish him the best of luck and leave it at that?
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
She's breedin gstock for a mega athlete, that's for sure.
I'd hit it.
It was hilarious after the Wings won the Cup in 2008 when she was hitting on Jiri Hudler while "interviewing" him, considering he's like 5'7"
should have been fired years ago when she and Rob Parker slandered Cousins.
plus she didnt play for Kansas , she played for Bradley(whenever the fuck that is)
she's been doing more and more normal street reporter segments. I think "leaving" is a nice way of saying "your numbers suck at the sports desk and as a reporter, were canning you unless you leave"
I didn't know the Lions where that thin on the O Line.
I really wish they would bring back Kim Adams (previously their hot meteoroligist with a huge rack)......she could do sports and I wouldn't even care what she was sayin...
Many bears go into hibernation this time of year
She going to waitress at Wobby's place.
Am I the only one that thinks WDIV management finally realized how much she is "unappreciated" in this market (read: hated by most local sports fans and is ultimately a sideshow) and took the high road?
I mean, she says she is taking time off and spending time with the family. I say WDIV decided to say "thanks for the good job, but we are looking in a new direction (more appealing women or a dude that people respect) so let's just say goodbye and leave it at that."
