RGIII >>>>> Bradford.
RGIII is gonna be a star in the NFL for years. Bradford will always be a mediocre QB.
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Dude, didn't Bradford go in last year's draft?
Luck went 1st this year. RGIII 2nd.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Lions Should've taken Dan Marino instead of Jerry Stackhouse!!!
Not the same draft...they wouldn't know that RGIII is this good and Bradford is this mediocre anyway
St. Louis traded the #2 pick to WASH.
This is Bradford's 3rd year.
Could have taken the cap hit and traded Bradford, taken the cap hit and cut him, etc...
I know it wasn't the same draft.
Instead of trading the #2 pick in this year's draft (RGIII) they should have kept the pick and taken RGIII. Could have flipped Bradford for something before or after the draft.
Who would you rather have as a QB? RGIII or Bradford?
Like 8 first round picks > RG3
For what they've invested in Bradford they COULD NOT give up on him this quickly. That's just unacceptable to bench a QB making how many millions per year? It's more than Stafford, I believe.
RG3 is definitely a freak, but I think you have to give Shannan some credit for knowing how to handle him, a lot of NFL coaches wouldn't

False: The Lions should've taken Lamar Hunt and traded him to Columbus for Jungle Jack Hannah and six cases of 5-hour Energy.

This. They're basically running a version of the Baylor offense. 99% of the coaches would just shove him into whatever offense they were running regardless of his strengths/weaknesses.
To the OP:
Repeating Bill Simmons thoughts as your own....pathetic.
People just take things they hear and repeat them as their own. It's even worse in politics.

People wont be saying this after he gets his head taken off. RGIII has taken some really bad this this year and its only going to get worse the slower he gets as he gets older. Yes he's very talented but he's going to be Vick 2.0 who can't stay healthy for a full season.
The Ram's choice was between Bradford and Suh. It still may turn out to be the better choice.

Not to mention that Cam Newton looked unstoppable last year. His rookie year, just one year ago.
Hindsight is always 20/20. The Lions should have taken Dwight Freeney instead of Joey Heisman in the 2002 Draft.
Butthurt Bill Simmons fan?
1. I don't read his work so if this was his opinion, good for him. If I wanted to read someone slurping anything and everything boston, I would read him. But I don't, so I won't.
2. If you are coming to tRCMB for original thoughts and content, you must have some sort of mental deficiency.
