"No one being honest can look at MSU and see anything other than a 6/7 win team next year." --Steve Adams Detroit News Reader Comments
Normally, I'm not a betting type of guy, but in this case, I'm willing to go out on a limb, and bet against reader Steve's prediction.

Steve Adams - UM SUPERFAN (Mott Comm. College grad)
He sounds like a retard. Did he see our schedule for next year?
A man's gotta eat!
This thread is bad and you should feel bad.
If QB does not step up - who can argue?
I see at least 8 wins. But, I might be a liar.
Funny because MD has never had consecutive seasons of less than 8 wins at MSU.
Please change the thread title to indicate that Steve Adams doesn't write for the News, he just reads the News. (or just looks at the pictures)
why do you read the comments? there is your problem
Seems to me he made this prediction without looking at the schedule. With a tougher schedule he's probably correct unless there's significant improvement in all parts of the offense.
I'm glad we have a thread dedicated to the comments of a reader of a Detroit news article. Bookmarked for later reference.
I believe you, but show us video evidence.

Have you seen our Offensive Coordinator and current incumbent starting QB? Have you noticed the percentage of our 110th ranked offense that left early for the draft? Did you notice who we lost to and/or struggled against last season (IU, EMU and Iowa). Until the offense shows it can do ANYTHING AT ALL next year I'm not counting on anything better than 6 wins. Our offensive coaching staff last year was beyond awful yet we seemingly are making NO changes.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!

Sad to say, but our team is back to having serious weaknesses in many areas. The talent deficiency between us and UM will be pretty glaring this year. Luckily we have the genius of Dantonio, but Roushar and his offense may hold things back.
This probably is a 6-7 win team.
There's a serious weakness in ONE area. If it's fixed, it's back to competing for B1G championships.
Special teams, outside of Sadler and his punting were mediocre to average last season. The K position is entirely unknown. The QB, RB, WE, TE and OL (in other words every offensive position) are question marks. We also have 2 big holes to fill in Gholston and Adams spots on defense and the FT's were an issue last season (the one weak area on an otherwise excellent D).
There are question marks all over the offense and special teams going into spring and fall with some smaller questions on defense. I'm confident in the defensive questions being answered positively. I'm not sure what to think on the special teams and with our woefully underperforming offensive staff likely all returning I have no confidence at the moment that we get enough positive answers to have a truly much improved offense.
I'm going to try and get him fired from 7/11.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
That is a man that clearly hasn't seen the schedule or knows anything about our team.
You may have rose colored glasses. All the superstars are gone. The bums still remain. We lost 75% of our offense, and far and away the best defender. There are not viable replacements for either.
Best case scenario next year is 7 wins. The floor is 3 or 4.
You really only see 6 or 7 wins with the following schedule? A lot would have to go wrong for that to happen. MSU should be able to win 8 no problem and if we have decent QB play, 9 or more wins isn't out of the question.
Now you are just trolling. Not worth the time.
Just making sure that this is quoted.
So many damned schticks in this thread.
