September Heisman = December 1-seed?
Fantastic bump. +1.
You know, not like basketball season consists of several months, road games, and several tough opponents, right? Ugh. That dude needed to bite his fanboy tongue.
Stoney is yet another knuckle dragging lard of a scUM blowing douche on that awful station. He knows zero about hoops. Up his blathering ugly ass.
Both teams are probably 2 seeds if the tournament starts tonight.
Stoney had a funeral for the Tigers with 2 1/2 weeks to go #assclown
Jerry Palm disagrees. On BTN tonight he put Miami, Duke, IU, MSU

Thank you, Denicos.
FWIW, tweet from Lunardi:
Both now No. 2 seeds. “@therealnatebelt: @ESPNLunardi does Michigan State move up to a one seed after their domination of michigan?”
And we have our answer.
That's great and all, but MSU clearly has an opportunity for a one seed.
Next Tuesday against Indiana can't get here soon enough!
I have to think they need to beat both us and Indiana, and at least get to Sunday in the BTT.
Not sure they can get it without winning the B1G tourney. This loss is like KU's loss to TCU, but possibly worse.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Not worse. TCU was in the mid 200s of RPI - PSU was 'only' 200. TCU was also a 23.5 point underdog - scUM was 13.5
LOL!!! So much awesome.
I now understand why his nickname is "Stoney". Probably should be "methy".
Heh, guess I gave them too much credit when I said they would need to worry about "tough" road games.
michael stone @stoney16
"Good news for Michigan is that Tourneys are not on road"
-He said this shortly after the game, and then I proceeded to call him out on how Penn State and their 200 fans at the game were hardly a home court advantage. He responded to me with this gem.
"point is they are bad on the road.i never thought they were special"
-I'm pretty sure he was slobbering all over this team since the beginning of the season. Such a joke how he quickly back tracks on this team being a guaranteed one seed. The whole "not playing on the road in the tourney" excuse seems to be their go to excuse now. Can't wait until Sunday when MSU stomps them at Crisler.
That team is a flaming bag of shit anywhere away from Crisler right now. They played Indiana and Wisconsin tough but they a) lost and b) have looked terrible the last two games on the road. Very interested to see how they do in Chicago at the BTT. The panic button will be jammed in if they go out in that 4-5 game to Ohio State or Wiscy on Friday and I'd laugh if they have to play Penn State again on Thursday. Michigan would be favored by a lot again, but judging from the first two games it looks like Penn State matches up reasonably well with them and tonight wasn't just a fluke.

Those tweets just make it seem like he's trying to make excuses for them. To go from "Wow, they look like a 1 seed" to "Ya, well, uh, you know tournament games are neutral so they'll probably be ok" looks sad, desperate, and apologetic. And sad.
Why is it so impossible for local media people to be objective? This is exactly why I hope every single one of those outlets goes out of business.
I think it's hard for the local media to be objective because a majority of Metro Detroit is scUM fans, and they don't want to start their days listening to someone who might say something that causes their blood pressure to go to high so early in the day. They allow these people to coast through their miserable lives during the day, and then slam them with Valenti at the end.
Especially since most are transplants and have to pretend to be fans, IE Stoney. Stoney doesn't give a rip about Detroit sports other than he works at a Detroit sports station, Oh sure he makes overtures, and brown-noses fan bases, but he doesn't care.
Stoney's been a Red Wing ticket holders for over a decade- he sits near me and believe it that he cares.
You're right. I am sure he does. I am sure he hates the Flyers now too.
