Start preparing yourself mentally. Your favorite non-Roushar punching bag might be the key to our conference title chances if Trice is out a while.
I for one am getting aboard the believe train.
If Trice is out, it is here. It's a scary proposition when you have a player that has confidence issues and will be a liability on both ends of the floor.
I'm betting on him rising to the occasion when forced into action.
I'll join you on the Byrd believe train if it comes with a Ken Kesey special keg of the

Fire Dan Roushar!
"Stats are for Losers." - Pat "Nardawg" Narduzzi
As long as he plays decent defense then it is what it is. I would love to see him rise to the occasion.
You think hallucinogens will help, brah?
You might as well ask FOX News to not be so republican. tRCMB chicken littles gonna chicken little. Throw rationality out the window.
There is nothing irrational about thinking this kid can't play. Maybe he'll put it together but my guess is that won't happen until next season at the earliest.
Calmer than you are
I'd rather Roushar suit up.
Irrational is freaking out whenever the kid is in the game. Which people are going to do.
Unfortunately I would guess that's much less likely to "click" than his shooting. He's just not wide enough to bang in the post and he's too slow and white to defend wings. Lets just hope he can contribute two 3's per game and only give up 6 points on the other end.
to throw rationality out the window one must have possessed it in the first place.
If Byrd has a defined role (ie, give me a few minutes of good, solid defense each half), he could probably do fine. There's a reason that Izzo didn't quit on him, and that decision looks pretty smart right now.
Honestly, I'd rather have Byrd calling plays.
Only six points against? I'd take that. That would be the definition of decent defense from him.
Is there anyone else on the bench who can surprise us like Mike Kebler did?
GO BYRD! Play defense like your life depends on it...
Nίκη για MSU
Yeah, Byrd has a lot to do with the point guard position.
So you don't think Trice going down will lead to more minutes for Byrd, Irish ?
Good news is MSU doesn't play for 6 days..
Semi off topic- Butler's down 18 to St Louie
Or MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC to not be so democrat.
A Spartan Today, A SPARTAN FOREVER. Through thick and thin, low and high water I strive to be the best Spartan ever.
German, brah. Ok, vb.
