Reports say that the NCAA is investigating "major and widespread violations".
This excerpt makes it sound pretty bad for Boeheim:
When asked to characterize how wide-ranging the probe might be, a source with knowledge of the case told CBSSports.com: “Throw a dart at the [NCAA] Manual [and you would hit a violation by Syracuse]."
F Boeheim, never liked him.
Probe has been going on for .
What, you mean the program that always seems to have a couple of guys suspended for undisclosed reasons isn't doing things cleanly?
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Devendorf U not playing by the rules, no way.
I would have no problem seeing Cuse get taken down. The whole program rubs me the wrong way.
Poor Albany CC.
Now knowing what 1995 is like all over again! Thank you 247 technology!!
Boeheim is pissed about the move to the ACC. I wouldn't be surprised if his next loss is his last at Syracuse.
Sounds like they've been unofficially in the crosshairs for quite a bit of time.
He's like Calhoun. He'll cause the problems, but he'll be long out of town before the price is paid.
I'll be surprised if Boeheim is directly involved with anything, he is legendary for his detatchment from the players. I'm sure some current or former assistant will take most of the blame for any violations.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Gimme a shout, dog.
Wouldn't surprise me if the NCAA waits to do anything punishment-wise until after Boeheim retires. That or they'll say they couldn't continue the investigation due to all their fuck ups in the Miami U case.

Someone in the Syracuse AD tweeted recently speculating that Boeheim might retire after the season.
It was subsequently taken down and they apologized. But I could totally see him getting out of there before shit hits the fan.
I've always hated him. And growing up in the NYC burbs, half of my friends ended up at Cuse. So this would be nice.
Couldn't agree more RB......he has always had that smug look about him like: "Yeah, I'm a cheater but....fuck you: catch me".....Well, they're finally closing in Jimbo
No doubt, but he'll still be disgraced: just like Calhoun was

Seems like every year they have guys suspended, only to come back a few weeks later. Sure seems like something fishy going on.

Boeheim is a classless bitch. He seriously is the biggest whiner out there. I have zero respect for the man or anyone else that is a supporter of him.
The program crumbling to its death would benefit the B1G in NYC!!
Is it weird that I watched Blue Chips last night which Boehiem was in....
yes and no....realistically can ANY of those kids qualify? Make all the jokes you want but the Big Ten still has entrance requirements...it isn't the $EC or the 'Cuse.
isnt calhoun still heavily connected to uconnbasketball though? i think he traveled with them to germany to do radio announcing or something?
he's the gus ganakas of uconn.
NYC kids are notorious for not meeting NCAA minimums.
St. Johns made a lot of noise a couple years ago by getting LOIs from some highly rated recruits and most of them didn't pan out.
Yeah, Gus plus (3 national titles)
For Jim Calhoun, I'm Kevin Ollie.
wait what?? Penn State-New York isnt clean??
So you're telling me Syracuse is dirty, it will be all over the media speculation, the NCAA will conduct an "inconclusive investigation" and then you'll never hear of the whole thing again? Yawn.
