Don't build that statue until after they get their asses reamed by another team named USC.
Best 8-5 team in the country. In the whole world. In the history of college football. In fact, because they created football, it was deemed that the best 8-5 team should be declared the NC because they have most excuses.
woah, woah, woah. Ease off the kool-aid. I'm the first to admit that Gardner has a really good chance of being the 2nd best QB in the league, but if he was really the 3rd best QB in the league than Al Borges must have been an idiot for moving him to WR exclusively.
The guy performed well against Minnesota, Iowa, and Northwestern.
McGloin and Marve were ahead of him in the pecking order, so I'd say 5th based on a limited schedule.
They already have built a monument to that. It's called Schembechler Hall.

Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Idiot. You are worthy of no other response.
Do you think they realize they're one missed FG from sharing an equal 7-5 record with us?
Denard was down btw, Walvie Bob.
Oh come on dude. A series of T-shirts would get the job done. I'm sure Wisconsin could help them out with that . . .

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Yea, I think that's because UM played Purdue and IL (combined 8-16) and MSU played IU and Wisky (combined 12-13) as unique cross-division games. That makes up for Bama (12-1) vs. Boise (10-2) plus Umass going 1-11 actually hurt them by 1 game compared to EMU (2-10). Both CMU and AF went 6-6, so that's a wash. Also, UM played MSU (6-6), while MSU played UM (8-4). That's a 2-game difference as well.
I'd venture to say our schedule was a little tougher and we finished 10-2. Just saying...record vs. schedule isn't a good measurement IYAM.
Noooo no no no hahaha...by publicly admitted, you mean you made it up?
Of course not!
(Forget a hail mary against NW that leaves them at 7-5, a missed FG by Conroy from being 6-6 and losing to MSU for the 5th year in a row)
As has been stated, they were 8-4 because they played the hardest schedule in the country....lol.
Go gobble some trailer park boners.
Typical scum fan going on a rivals board because his mommy upset him again.....did she forget to dust around your tv?
To die in ann arbor is redundant
weren't you the first one to play the "could shoulda mighta" game when you said last year's msu team would have been 8-4 with this schedule?
He's not even the best DC in the division.
He's not even the best DC in the state.
You're not actually implying that Greg Mattison is a better DC than Pat Narduzzi, right? You can't be that stupid.
You're lucky that the Mods are tolerant of dumbasses from rival fanbases coming over here to flame. You really can just fuck off and head back to the circle jerk that is Michigan 247 and/or MgoBlog.
Only one of those 8 wins is against a team with a winning record. You ONLY beat ONE team with a winning record all year.
Let me repeat that. ONLY ONE WIN AGAINST A TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD.
Even mediocre MSU did better than that. You guys are a joke when it comes to actual facts, your team is nothing special either.

And it took a hail mary for them to win that one......
