it seems a lot of you are beating that drum today. I haven't seen Creighton play ONCE all year so I wouldn't have an opinion on the game. Break it down for me please.......
McDermott scores 50 points. It would still be a close game, Memphis would beat Creighton by double digits.
Creighton is in the same league as WSU, a team I kinda follow. I watched the WSU/Creighton game where WSU beat them at home. Creighton has 1 guy and against a really athletic team, even he can struggle to create his own shot. I don't see it. Duke has numerous players that beat you and Creighton has 1. Duke by 15.
thanks Frank...I kind of figured guys are just reaching big time on that one. Sounds like a 10-20 pt. Duke win barring injury or some other goofy circumstance.
I like creightons big man as well as mcdermott. Duke should win but I give creighton 30-35% chance. Remember Duke is usually playing in North Carolina yhe first two weekends.
they score more points than Duke
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
If you've ever watched the tournament before you would know Creighton has a shot. I doubt Creighton wins, but anything is possible. We are talking about a Duke team that lost to 15 seed Lehigh in the tournament last year.
Tubby, duke wins by 15.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
Creighton is better than people think, but Duke will have to shoot very, very poorly to lose. Huge talent advantage for Duke.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
White on white crime.
I saw a lot of Creighton games this year and I was impressed every game. Watched a lot of MVC games and they were clearly the best team, by far...always felt that Gonzaga, VCU, St. Louis, and Butler were getting the recognition that Creighton deserved this year. McDermott is obviously one of the best players you'll see this year, but keep your eye on Echenique, who will take Plumlee defensivly by himself and Ethan Wragge, who shoots 50% from 3s.
Grant Gibbs could be a big key for a Creighton win. Gibbs is a 6-5/6-6 point guard who could cause problems for Seth Curry. I honestly feel that Creighton is right there with MSU, Duke, and Louisville in the Midwest Region.

Duke will blow them out. Plumlee and Kelly will have field days.
Duke fans think they will lose and they know both teams better than me. That's all I've got.
Best part of this game is the 9:40 Sunday tip, essentially giving MSU a two day head start on scouting and rest.
I watched St Marys dismantle Creighton. That should give you some sense as to what Duke will likely do to them.
MSU versus Duke next Friday.
Spartans ...committed to bring Paul Bunyan home in 2013.
Also means many of us won't see the whole thing. Didn't they used to end the games early on Sunday?
How so? Both Duke and Creighton know who they'll be playing next should they win today.
I hate Illinois Nazis.
Vim -- noun: robust energy and enthusiasm : VITALITY
meh, lock the thread: ST. MARY'S? jebus.....
We all expect Duke to win but there was that one time northern Iowa beat Kansas so I guess anything could happen, right?
But they won't start preparing for that yet. Maybe Duke might start looking at tape, but I'd imagine Creighton has its hands full with the current match up.
There's about a 83.83% chance......no, closer to 85.27% Duke wins. 57.38% they win by 15 or more.
Because I picked it in my pool and I'm a fucking genius.
Massey has Duke at only a 55% chance to win. hmm
Creighton beat Cincinnati, who beat Oregon, who beat UNLV, who beat Iowa State, who beat Florida Gulf Coast, who beat Miami, who beat Duke.
Jesus. It's as if nobody has heard of the transitive property. We basically don't even need to watch the game tonight.
