Qb's who can make plays with their feet. When Maxwell gets that internal clock and pulls the ball down, look out. Just extend drives.
Except Maxwell isn't nearly as good a runner as Klein, Mariota, or Golson.
"look out" for what? He isn't mobile enough to do much at all:he's shown that all year. I like the kid: he can drive the bus IF the bus has enough components to keep rolling down the road smoothly. Ours doesn't obviously, beginning with the oline of course.
amen bro: I'm as intrigued as anyone to see Terry in two years. Sure, AM can be effective next season....to a degree. But we won't ever really be the kind of team we want to be until we get a dual threat guy. ESPECIALLY because our oline won't allow for it.
it's sort of baffling why he doesn't run more. Isn't he pretty fast?
They also get better recruits than MSU
Better recruits = More wins
Who woulda thunk it?
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Chad Henne ran an 11.2 100m as a sophomore in HS. Has never been able to use his legs (or at least tried). Maxwell is pretty athletic (6'7 high jump in high school), but he's not particularly fast by today's QB standards. Definitely faster and more comfortable moving than Cousins, but his legs aren't going to win games. I think MSU would like to roll him out more, but it's hard to run a playaction rollout game when your only experienced TE is injured.
Staying positive. He has a lot of talent. A few more first downs with his feet, and that doesn't mean option just knowing when to get positive yards, and we could have a couple more wins.
Yeah I don't remember Henne ever running.
golson and johnny are true freshmen. Maxwell is a 4th year Junior. Its never turning on if it hasnt already
They're RS Freshmen
Both are Redshirt Freshmen...
We should be recruiting dual threat QBs exclusively. We just aren't ever going to have the OL to allow a pocket passer to live up to potential. After 6 years of TRYING to be a team that lines up and runs at you, it's time to stop being stubborn and start realizing that wanting to do something and being able to do something are 2 different things.
golson and johnny football are redshirt freshmen
And their OL's are infinitely better, and they have WRs who can catch, not to mention a slew of playmakers on offense (at least for ND).
Damion Terry. Feel free to lock this thread.

Kansas State doesn't get shit for recruits. They have like 5 4 stars in the last 5 years and only 2 from last year. Most of their recruits are 2 star junior college kids.
So all the Jucos that come in and immediately start are 2 stars? They're more like 6 stars. They only went to junior college because they couldn't qualify and they show up at K-State as grown ass men.
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
I would guess that about 80% of college football teams have QB's that are running threats. You can find a bunch of 2-8 teams whose quarterbacks are mobile too.

Rivals has Juco ratings too, but you're right they are 6 stars. They are so fucking good that teams that recruit them automatically win. That's why Alabama, Oregon, USC, etc are all over these guys (oh wait, they didn't recruit ANY of the Kansas State JUCO guys).
Our fanbase is fucking stupid.
swing and miss
