Glad I don't have to follow this show anymore. Not a huge climax for the series end.
The ames dude got off scott free.... Hmmmmmmm, was he not an accessory who witheld info from the police?
I agree. How was he in that meeting with the mayor? Will there be a next season?
Alllll that shit happened in 3 weeks? Dumb
If there is a Season 3, it won't be on AMC.
For people itching for another American remake of a Scandinavian crime drama, FX has shot a pilot for the Danish TV thriller, The Bridge. I have seen the original and it is quite good.
The show was never able to recover from the strong negative reaction to its decision not to solve the mystery at the conclusion of its first season.
A season 3? Why bother? They finished season 2 with the star of the show (doing what could be perceived as) quitting her job.
The part that "killed" me was that the stupid aunt spent that whole time with what should have been agonizing terrifying guilt... but, nope... the cold blooded killer still managed to make the worlds best grilled cheese while harboring the secret to who killed Rosie Larson.
Supposedly this show is close to being revived (first on AMC and then on Netlfix). I'm not sure that anybody was even watching by the end, though.
I remember being super excited for this show, then I stopped watching by like episode 6 because it was so boring. Said I'd just go back and re watch if it made it to like season 4, looks like it stayed boring.
Glad this frees up a slot for a new AMC drama. I'd say they could make a competitor to Homeland, but they already had one in Rubicon that was pretty damn good and no one watched. I'd guess they'll try another crime-drama, hope they try something new though.

I agree; I think Rubicon was one of their best shows, and I don't see how it was cancelled so abruptly.
Season 3 will focus on a new case, which will be resolved over the course of 12 episodes. Production on Season 3 begins Mon., Feb. 25 in Vancouver.
First season pulled me in but it got weak in the second season. Looking forward to a better third.
I agree with ya. I like the new format of 1 case over 1 season. That way the show doesn't have a case drag on too long.
Read where the new season will, thankfully, revolve around a new case. Linden has retired but Holder gets a case that might have something to do w/ an old case Linden worked on. She gets roped back in.
BTW, the actor who plays Holder is in a great film called Snabba Cash (Easy Money.) There's a sequel that will be coming out soon as well.
Looks like Peter Sarsgaard will be part of the cast for Season 3.
AMCs revived The Killing has found its villain. Peter Sarsgaard has been tapped to play a death row inmate in the rebooted third season of the drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
not bad, whens that supposed to start up?
You've got to be fucking kidding me that people are still watching this show. This is the worst show in the history of television. The "videos" that Sheldon takes with his non-functioning RCA 1996 camcorder are better than anything Veena Sud has put out. I would like to stab her in the temple with a butter knife for encouraging me to suffer through the first two abortions of a season of this godforsaken poop hole of a series.

I believe it's supposed to start in May.
I just blazed through both seasons over the past couple weeks on Netflix. This show was annoying in the same way Lost and Breaking Bad were annoying: characters do silly stuff just to make the story more "compelling". All of those shows sucked me in, but in the end I hated them for being manipulative. I guess I just don't like TV dramas.

Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
Season 3 will premiere on June 2, with a 2 hour season premiere.
Bump. 2 hour premiere tonight at 8 on AMC.
Great show in the beginning then went down hill fast in season 2. Holder, (Joel Kinnaman) is a fantastic actor and his character was the only reason I stuck it out til the end. Glad to see this season has him center stage it appears.
I will say AMC did a great job with the setting in the Seattle/Vancover area. It played a great role in bringing a sincere depressing cloak over the whole story line. I don't think there was ever a shoot where there was sunshine. Brought a real dire/downer feel to the whole story.

Watched the premier last night. After having to back up the dvr to decipher multiple mumbled lines, I'd have to say I feel like I'm watching a rewind of season one with a few twists. Young girl gets killed, Linden gets obsessed, Linden trashes a relationship over obsession, Linden oversteps boundaries and borders on stalking and obstruction, blah, blah, blah.
Holder is great as usual and his grilling of Linden over her boyfriend was spit take funny!
Dammit, I just know that somehow, for no apparent reason, I'm going end up watching this season too....
I watched the premiere as well, and I thought it was really good. Of course there will be similarities to the first season, but I'm really liking Peter Sarsgaard's character. Looks like this will be another solid season. And yes, Holder makes the show. He's great.
