He can tie John Wooden in wins all while winning a national championship. He was elected to the Basketall Hall of Fame today.
Oh, and he has a horse in the Kentucky Derby coming up. Ricky P... living the life.

What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Possibly. What about Rick Pitino though?
feels like the apocalypse is upon us....hopefully SCum is due for a bad game: ya know, one where dwarfs like Albrecht aren't throwing in threes
It's a bit premature to say it will be his night.
His team might not have the stamina to hang with UM, and might not last all that long.
All of the historical indicators suggest Louisville wins tonight...
* Cream rises to the top at the Final Four... big upsets are very rare (a 4 or lower beating a 1 hasn't happened since 1997). A 4 seed beating the overall #1 seed would be quite exceptional.
* The well established programs that have had multiple years of success and have paid their dues usually win against the newcomer, upstart, hot team 1-year wonder. Pitino has been there for over 10 years, has 3 Final Fours, has been a top caliber program for many years now. The only real newcomer program to win the title in the last 40 years or so is NC State in 1983.
* In the KenPom era (since 2003), the national champion has always been Top 20 in both offense and defense, and typically elite in both categories. Louisville is 5/1, UM is 1/32.
Because of those historical precedents, UM is guaranteed to win tonight.
This pretty much guarantees a UM win tonight
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Why is everyone expecting Louisville to just roll over for um?
Such is life... or Russ Smith breaks an ankle. Or McGary goes for 20 and 15.
HE'S GOT A HIGH MOTOR
One thing to add, the last time a 4 seed won it all was Arizona in 97. They beat #1 seed Kentucky that year coached by Pitino.
But that Zona team had the bald wonders
I'd call that a jinx.
but they didn't have McJesus...
Weird timing for sure... maybe Dave Brandon made a couple calls?
I have $100 on evil, so they have to lose now!
I think Mitch Albom suits up for them and gets an exclamation point dunk at the end of the game to win it.
