Punt really!? 4th and 2. Punt??? Wtf. 20 yard net punt. Wow. Great desicion! The d hasn't made the 4th Q stop all year. So pissed!!! How can a team with this talent go 5-5?? Unbelievable.
Agree. Then using the prevent defense. Against Martinez? Are you kiddin me?
It was a fine decision. You don't expect your top ten defense to give up 80 yards in just over a minute.
What, the punt was a good call?
Plus the announcers knew it was what "conservative Dantonio" would do. That was a pussy call and Mark Dantonio needs to take responsibility for this one. Bell would have gotten those 2 yards! Hopefully whomever is Bell's coach next years shows more faith in him next year.
Yup, you need to get pressure on any QB, someone will eventually get open.
and if you don't make it, you give the ball back to Nebraska with 1:30 left at your own 40, and they are only down 3....you've never played organized football before, right?
They've done it like 4 times!
Did you not watch the Iowa and Michigan games? The defense is gassed out in the 4th quarter, they are not closers.

punt was the right call
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Hahahah i said the same thing and stinky and death are calling for my heads. What an insanely idiotic playcall. Our D was getting gashed most of the day
I have an MBA...Master at Being Amazing
Not a coach D hater at all, but after this year I have to wonder what we would have had with out cousins, k-mart, and BJ.
Where am I calling for your head? You're a freaky person.

I understand your thinking but it was a go for it decision. Even giving then the ball there we have 3 timeouts, and if they do score, theres probably more than 30 seconds left. Risky yes, but I view that a go for it situation.
totally 's fault for Pepper's shitty snap that forced Sadler to just boot it rather than pinning them closer to the ten w/ a minute to go and no time outs. We were only up 3...you don't go for it unless it's 4th and inches between the 40s.
MD needs to take some heat, this team blew 4 games this year under his watch. They play stupid, they play not to lose, it's the shit we've seen for too long!
The worst part is that we have not been beaten by a team as talented as we are this season.,

Players played one hell of a game (except JA). Sux to not be able to go for that last 2 yards to put the game away. That is why I said its on coach D. That was his call
The punt was the right call. The wrong call was when they had Nebraska 4 & 10 and they only rush 3. That was the game there.
Correct call. You guys trust our O-line to get 2 yards with the game on the line? You make them go 80+ yards and earn the win. Unfortunately, our D crumbled at the end again.
It was the right call but thanks for playing.
It was obviously NOT the right call. But thank you.
I didn't have time to post it because it happened quicker than I thought, but as soon as they decided to punt there was no doubt in my mind that Nebraska would get it to the 40 in less than a minute anyways....ALWAYS fukkin happens
It was the right call because if you do not get the first then they get even better field position, but again, thanks for playing
Yea, let's put a coach who had 1 shitty season on the hot seat while completely ignoring what he's done for the program. As much as I don't like rebuilding seasons, this is one of them (like 2009) and as history has demonstrated, we will be fine next year. MD isn't the problem. So far, this season > 2009.
SERIOUSLY. You cannot blame the refs. It should NEVER have been put in their hands. Run the ball on 4&2.
