Boesch should be okay in Yankee Stadium's right field wind tunnel with its shot porch.
.250 / 27 HRs / over 100K's
short porch in r.f. will help Bosch....as it did Granderson.
Short left porch, yes, but I also believe the Yankees changed Granderson's stance and approach.
Not if he whiffs or barely gets the bat on the ball as he did all last year.
I read the news today, oh boy .. ..
About a lucky man who made the grade
I backed it up with stats on post season and playoff success over the last 20 years and last 4-5 years. It's overwhelming that the east has been the best division. You try to save face with by proving that the AL west was better for one year?
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
Because the post season where one or two teams from any given division is a great indicator of the top to bottom over all strength of their division? Especially considering the fact that we've seen teams with "lesser" records win the entire postseason tournament recently?
I can't believe your convoluted logic really makes sense to you.
The whole purpose of the regular season is to make the playoffs, nothing else matters. The AL East teams have overwhelmingly been the best at that over the past 4-5 years or past 20 years. It's not even close. Just admit your "preception" was wrong.
@Tom_Gage: Brennan Boesch to #Yankees media about #Tigers: "They did me a favor (by releasing him)."
Glad this cancer is gone, part of the reason we struggled so much last year. Have fun in the minors Brennan.

Struggled last year?
I haven't read anything about Boesch being a bad teammate
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
65-58 in games that Boesch started.
We won games where Inge and Raburn played. Hint, they didn't help.
I don't doubt the Tigers made this move out of professional courtesy. They could have stuck him in AAA and stall his career. Releasing him and making him a Free Agent is the best case scenario for Boesch.
Obviously the Tigers benefited from saving $1.9M
That has nothing to do with the strength of the division. Division strength lies in how good teams that don't make the playoffs are.
This thread is still going ? How does a borderline major league talent generate 11 pages?
Inge probably had 288 pages.
They didn't make the playoffs, they weren't good. Give it up.
Stupid thing to say. The Angels didn't make the playoffs last year because their division was so good. They had a better record than the Tigers.
So how is Boesch doing in a ballpark tailor made for his swing? Should the Yankees fire their hitting coach because the immensely talented Boesch is hitting .227 with a minor league demotion on the card as well?
Boesch is a big time athlete, not a baseball player. The game requires incredible hand eye coordination to hit the ball consistently, and reading fly balls off the bat is no easy task even if a guy runs well.
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
Boesch is wildly inconsistent but just because he bats lefty doesn't mean Yankee Stadium is tailor made for him.
Even when he is hot he is not that much of a pull hitter.
You and I know this,
Bullwrinkle, not so much.....
He's had exactly 44 at bats. Exactly what did you expect? He's still hitting 50 points better than Alex Avila, and Avila has a really really good hitting coach....so I'm told.
Doesn't he pull everything? I thought he rarely sprayed the ball anywhere but rightfield.
