Ban douchebag Michigan fans that have nothing better to do than come on this board.
this is the inevitable path that green policies were going to lead--the realization that the old cat lady is in fact complicit in eco terrorism.
no because we're feeding and sheltering feral cats. In a world without humans most cats, large and small die from exposure, starvation, and disease. With human help they flourish. So even if farmer Bob doesn't want to kill all the birds wintering off his unharvested corn, his feral cats do the job quickly and efficiently. The same is true of domestic house cats. Those cats get vaccinated and fed even if they don't kill anything so they live to kill a lot in one life time.
Birds have wings. They can fly away. If they're too stupid or lazy to get killed by a little kitty cat, then screw 'em.
That sir, is NOT science.
Not baby ducks, and we have lost plenty in our neighborhood to a herd of "cat lady" cats.
Cats bury their poop. No one ever got swimmers itch from cat poop. Until ducks start disposing of their turds in a sanitary manner, it's open season on them as far as I'm concerned.
Our cats are always leaving voles and mice for us to pick up. Several a week. Rarely do they get a bird, but they do have bells on their collars.
I guess birds hear better than rodents.
I stopped swimming in the creek when we got indoor plumbing.
