I don't care for any team from Boston, but if a New York team can be taken down, I'm all for it.
I read the news today, oh boy .. ..
About a lucky man who made the grade
My Lord, I am so impressed with Krug's play in this game. He looks like he's skating with 12-year-olds out there sometimes.
"Never drafted out of Michigan State. Think a few scouts made a mistake?"
Lots of good press for MSU.
That was a nice play he just had. Took it from behind the goal and flew outta the zone by everyone and almost had another assist.
I heard that too. Wish the Wings would have signed him.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Third star of the game it sounds like.
TSN crew loves them some Krug.

Thank you, Denicos.
Former MSU hockey players owning these play-offs. Pretty damn awesome to see.

EVERYBODY loves them some Krug. This is from the coach for Miami/Ohio:
Great seeing @KrugTorey having big impact for the Bruins after his callup. Was a great player @MSU_Hockey. Small guy proving people wrong

That second goal was ridiculous.
How was Bergeron 2 star? Krug had same points, 1 extra goal, 2 +/- (Bergeron = zero), same SoG, all in 5 less mins of ice time.
If you can't tell by the previous comments, at least one more game ...
He has played five NHL games in his career:
April 3, 2012 PIT @ BOS.......No points
April 5, 2012 BOS @ OTT.......1 assist
March 27, 2013 MTL @ BOS...1 assist
May 16, 2013 NYR @ BOS......1 goal
May 19. 2013 NYR @ BOS......1 goal and 1 assist
Five points in five games.
And given the "Gold Star Award" by a Puck Daddy blogger.
Gold Star Award
Torey Krug has two goals in his first two NHL playoff games, and also an assist. He also broke up a partial break before he scored yesterday's goal, on which he kicked the puck through his own legs to himself.
From the blog Puck Daddy: Hello, this is a feature that will run through the entire season and aims to recap the weekend’s events and boils those events down to one admittedly superficial fact or stupid opinion about each team. Feel free to complain about … Continue reading →
He is looking awesome tonight
Been the Bruins best offensive player for the 2nd period. Led the rush twice and passed off for good chances and had 4 quality shots. Impressive how he can get it on net through all the traffic in front.
I'll enjoy the intermission highlights.
Krug has been terrific on both ends of the ice.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
The Bruins scored two goals to win, but the scoring and goal streak for Krug is over.
Every shift he's on the ice he seems to do something that warrants the commentators gushing over him and nearly every time the words Michigan State invariably get tossed in. Can't hurt for recruiting.
Boston Bruins rookie defenseman Torey Krug is certainly living the good life.
It's amazing when you consider the undrafted 5-foot-9, 180-pound lefty was just finishing up his final season at Michigan State University a season ago before signing an entry-level contract with the Bruins on March 25, 2012....
"Yes, it's your childhood dream to hear your name called [at the draft], but it's not the end of the world," Krug said. "If you're going to make it to the NHL, you're going to make it, there's nothing that will stop you. You have to have that mindset, and maybe use it for motivation and work harder. But if you're out there, they're going to find you and you have to have faith in yourself."

The commonality is BOS. Something about BOS that really contributes to his scoring.
Krug is mentioned in the Detroit Free Press:
The article is mostly a question-and-answer with his Dad.
Krug with a laser from the point for his 3rd goal of the play-offs.
anyone see the Rangers goal? holy shit what a bad goal to give up by Rask
