"This is the worst worst officiated game I've ever seen. Immediately 2 points stolen on a missed goal tend and the trend stayed there. Sure there were some ticky tack calls on Louisville but they didn't effect the score like the bullshit non calls for Michigan. I kept a note of what they missed and there was at least 5-6 points for Michigan and a 3 pointer directly after a non call for Louisville. So swing the score and were in it till the final buzzer. Not this shit show perpetrated by the officials we had to sit through. Fuck Rick Pitino. I've never seen a coach so far out on the floor the entire game but no one cared."
Once more unto the breach, dear friends.... Not only keeping with the front page style, but I feel that way. I'm pretty live and let live on threads. But I might have fought someone for this one tonight. I'm taking no chances. I even had subs tonight. Because I bet it's going to get crazy.
"Pathetic excuse of an officiating job and no one will even mention it. I guarantee it."
How many times were UL guys bumped by McGramps inside with no call, especially on Behanen right at the end?

Meanwhile Siva gets mugged every time he drives in the second half, nary a whistle in sight. Hmmm...
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
"Horrible, horrible officiating right from the beginning whistle. Michigan did an amazing job staying in this game given the way they were hammered and fouled all game. "
Dude UL had many more fouls than UM. Complaining about the refs tonight is just dumb.
At one point in the second half, UL had 10 more shots than um, almost all in the paint, and um was in the bonus while UL only had 3 fouls called on them.
Bullshit, nary a Walverine giving Louisville an ounce of credit. To mention the refs when to the rest of the world it's obvious they were extremely biased in their calls in favor of scUM is classless.
I'm waiting for Brady Hoke to say, well, we just didn't play Michigan Basketball in the 2nd half.
Honestly, I think we do better meltdowns.... And the officiating was, as has become the norm, horrendous.
I expect that m alums will handle this better than their wannabe fan base. And we should expect no different. After all, they are a football school....
Spartans ...committed to bring Paul Bunyan home in 2013.
Not only that, but at one point Michigan had 10+, and Louisville had 4.
Yeah, that's what I mean, people typically blame the refs or other stupid stuff instead of just recognizing that they lost regardless of how well/poor they played.
I agree, the officiating meltdown is our go-to, but at least we've got some variation to our meltdowns .... attacking players, Delaney, etc.
"Very very thankful that I'm not emotionally invested in basketball. My chest still aches whenever I think about Red Wings Game 7, 2009. I feel for all the Michigan basketball fans tonight."
Now it doesn't matter
The few actual UM alum I know are saying the same thing as the rest of the fanbase only with better grammar.
This is a Pallas’s cat. Their round pupils give them an odd human quality. They disturb me...deeply.
It's criminal Vim! This game was STOLEN from the Michigan Wolverines!
"I love March!" - Tom Izzo
man, I wonder what it feels like to have such an edge in ref bias. Wouldn't it be nice to have that one game? Then we really couldn't complain about refs.
They let Hancock go nuts from the perimeter in the final minutes of the first half. That was not officiating.
In the second half, Louisville hit the boards and got tough. UM likes finesse basketball. Beilein does not emphasize toughness and rebounding. That finally caught up with UM. That was not officiating.
Burke picks up two fouls early in the first half. Beilein sits him forever, even while Hancock is owning the perimeter. You can't sit the POTY for that long. Burke can defend but was not on the court to do so. That was not officiating.
Clock management in the last 35 seconds was terrible. UM had timeouts but was not fouling right away and that allowed Louisville to get the ball to whomever Burke was guarding. Burke could not foul and Louisville just ran big seconds off the clock. That was not officiating.
Officiating was terrible. But in went both ways.

I would have to say that in at least a lot of the football cases and the Duke game, the calling out of officials was very warranted. I would flat out say in some games we have been given favor over the other team but if what you guys are saying about the game is true. ( ie 10+ fouls on LV and 4 on UM) then i really cant see how they could complain at all. I wouldn't be caught dead complaining about that.
I don't' think the refs were biased, but I did not like how it was called. They allowed all kinds of contact in the paint. I think it helped um as Louisville is more of a inside team and um can play on the perimeter and don't really have a post game. Add on the foul differential and the last thing a scummer should be doing is whining.

"These chumps CANNOT hang unless the refs keep them in it."
"Good game Louisville fans. Congrats on being gifted the last two games. You guys deserve it after Ware got hurt."
"I'm headed over to /r/photoshopbattles to see if someone can make the refs cutting down the net. wish me luck"
"I look forward to the series of clips laying out 40 minutes of bullshit calls. Neither Siva nor Hancock should've even still been playing with about 10 minutes left in the second half. Even Aaron Craft is probably sitting at home saying, 'Man, that's some really handsy defense..'
I'm done. Nothing against Louisville's fans. I'm sure you guys are great. But that was the most crooked officiated I've ever seen. And I've seen more than a handful of Lakers and Heat playoff games.."
"Michigan was called for things that weren't even remotely close to a foul and Louisville didn't get called for the most obvious things."
"HANCOCK IS A FAG"
"JUST BECAUSE U GRUNT IT ISNT A FOUL"
"Looks like cheaters do win."
"Can you just respect Michigan alone without referencing MSU? State lost in regional; U-M earned this"
This just in- north Korea's first target is Louisville Kentucky... calls went ur way and u got lucky... Hancock, who?
