Cal needs to get this thing going, quickly. The SEC is bad, but UK's lost twice and hasn't played Florida or Mizzou yet.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
UK is a bubble team right now. It'll be interesting to see what Cal does next year when most of his players decide to return for next season. Nerlens Noel is the only player on that team who should even consider going pro, and I don't even think he should either
They are not a good team. Very shallow, and losing Cauley-Stein will seriously hurt them inside.
Couldn't be enjoying it more.

Apparently all of UK's slush money went to pay Cal's salary, so they got this years bunch of recruits the old fashioned way.
The indoctrinated will no longer be able to deny it, only defend it.
I thought Cal was the best coach evar? Oh wait, maybe having all those first round draft picks is why they won at all. A little drop off and all of a sudden their express train to the NBA is derailed.
I wish we were more like Kentucky and had a coach like Cal. True blue bloods.
UK is 0-6 against the RPI top 60
Bama closes out Kentucky. Wildcats still haven't beaten anyone ranked higher than 68th in RPI, are 0-6 against top 60.

The recruiting class coming in next year is more like the one they had last year than the current crop of players.
Tom Izzo has really turned Bama hoops into a decent program.

The 2012 class the 2nd, 8th, 14th, and 40th ranked players. Three 5 stars and a 4 star (Rivals). These kids are not slouches, and will be jumping after this year.
They just don't seem to have leadership like last year. No doubt that guys like Harlow, Goodwin, and Noel are talented, but watching this team is like watching a trainwreck. Harlow and Goodwin were absolutely dreadful tonight. Davis and Kidd-Gilchrist were mature beyond their years, and this team just doesn't seem to have a guy like that.
And like others have said, it's wonderful to watch.

It worked last year because NBA lockout concerns forced them to retain some upper classmen. If the draft stock of the current players falls due to missing the tournament, Cal's whole recruiting premise could collapse.
If we can trick Coach Krzyzewski into saying his own name backwards, perhaps he will be pushed back to the fifth dimension
I hope they lose every game.

Charles Barkley said that Kentucky doesn't have a single player ready for the NBA. If some of those players everyone assumed would be in the NBA next year stay - there will be some 2013 recruits (Young) who assumed next year would be their one year of collegiate glory who may not get the minutes they envisioned. UK's reputation for being a one year prep for NBA riches might start to get tarnished.
It also helped that their best players last year (Unibrow and MKG) were more defensive focused and only played offense because they had to.
UK had two white guys on the court at the same time and the game was close. NIT.
That's going to hurt them on selection Sunday. Considering the SEC only has a few teams even ranked that high. They only play 5 more games against the top 60 and just two are at home (one against Florida). Saying that they're in trouble in regards to the bubble is an understatement.
They should be 11-7 instead of 12-6 .... if you watched the end of the Vanderbilt game you know what I'm talking about.
It's very likely at this point that they might go into the SEC tournament needing to win it in order to make the NCAAs. I don't think the committee is going to be impressed by them beating up on the weaklings at the bottom of the SEC while getting pounded by Florida and Mizzou.
I feel terrible about this. anyone peruse the wildcat boards? any fun threads to post here? Fire Cal? We gotta stop recruiting one and dones? Anything like that?
Can we up vote the shit out of any of them?

This. They need wins against Mizzou, Ole Miss, and UF - if they don't get any of those, it'll take a run to the tournament final to be feeling decent.
