Scouts left the Senior Bowl on Wednesday after the final padded practices of the week, and their impressions of Michigan's Denard Robinson as a receiver were decidedly unfavorable. 'Not good,' one AFC scout told the Free Press. 'I think he took himself from like the third, fourth round to like the sixth, seventh round.'
Oh dear.... the delusion is strong in these ones.

I always try to avoid stepping in Brady droppings.
I'm confused, Tom Brady was a quarterback

Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
But, like Denard Robinson he switched positions and now is a quarterback?
Except yknow.... Denard was a qb.... so it's like a connection! OMG

I have a buddy that was adamant last year that Denard was not going to be drafted at all. I think being drafted in the 7th round would be close enough for me to say he was correct.
Who knows though? I always think it is interesting to see how far off these projections are for some people. Brady Quinn, Kirk Cousins, Jimmy Clausen...of course, those players could still be classified as Quarterbacks.

Will struggle mightily and be cut from camp and Walverines will begin to talk up Gardner as a Heisman sleeper.
I have no problem with Denard at all and I respect him 100% compared to most past Michigan players but the franchise that drafts him will have completely wasted a selection.
Reading the comments gave me a chuckle
CFL! CFL! CFL!
If he doesn't get drafted, just more time for him to hang out at MSU parties.
He would look good in Argonaut Blue....
CFL written all over him!
I forgot who, but someone or some site said Gardner was the B1G's best Heisman chance. When I heard that, I just laughed.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
The funny thing is that UM fans thought that Brady sucked, and they think that Denard was good.
Isn't Braxton Miller already on the pre-season list or something?
For the love of Trevor...™
Top of the pre-season list.
Not trying to be a dick since Brady is clearly one of the best QBs of all time, but did he drop? Or was he drafted about where he should have been drafted?
What, he's out of the running for the January Heisman?
Yup. I love the revisionist history with UM fans on Brady. I remember watching the '99 UM/MSU game with a bunch of them and they were all pretty much hoping he'd get hurt so Henson, their savior du jour at the time, would go in. Now they are all claiming him. No wonder he keeps the school at such arm's length.

perhaps the most dynamic and exciting thread in rcmb history..
better than anything you brought to the table today, ya old fart :P
A Brady dropping? My god, the Brady Hoke is fat joke is just too easy here.
The string of September Heismans remains intact.
Robinson doesn’t have an NFL arm and will have to move to another position in the pros, and his work as a wide receiver at Senior Bowl practices this week has been met with disappointing reviews.
“Not good,” one AFC scout told the Detroit Free Press. “I think he took himself from like the third, fourth round to like the sixth, seventh round.”
No one doubts that Robinson has the talent to make plays with the ball in his hands, but he may be too small to play running back. And so far, Robinson hasn’t shown off the hands that he’d need to play receiver or return kicks.
“He’s got to catch the ball a lot better,” an NFC scout said. “I have no idea at this point what I would do. He’s not a corner, he’s an offensive skill guy, but where do you put him?”
Denard Robinson gained more rushing yards at Michigan than any other quarterback in major college football history, but NFL scouts seem unconvinced that he has what it takes to make it at the next level.
Thank you, Denicos.
i'm not being funny when I say he could be a real star in the Arena league. That's what he's built for.
The defending Grey Cup Champions!!
Lived hear 5 years now and I'm still trying to figure out why in the world they only have three downs......
