look at all the usernames outing themselves as Walvies.
Coming from the guy who would throw Izzo under the bus.
You do realize WVU and Oakland were tied with 2 minutes to go, and Pitt had to go to OT to beat Oakland? And WVU is 7-6.
Saying a team is better 2 games into conference play, and not playing eachother, is just dumb. Despite what team you're talking about.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Replace WVU with KSU who I forgot about
Holy shit, you call out UM's schedule for being weak (and it is) and the Wolvies come out of the woodwork. It's like they know their schedule is dog shit, so they've already prepped themselves for the argument.
How come our Texas win doesn't count as anything special, yet the UM apologists are allowed to polish that turd that is the WVU win? Pathetic. WVU will be lucky to even make the NIT at this rate.

You're right. Can't wait for that Indiana vs. Nebraska game, should be a good one!
if he was a dirty cheater that was a one trick pony sure would, but since he is the class of coaches never have to worry about it.
guess you just cant understand.
No, its using asinine statements about their schedule to point out they are a better team right now. Most folks on here will and should admit um is better right now. It doesnt change the fact that they havent played anyone worthwhile, especially away from home.
Can I say that Indiana is better than Nebraska?
no true Scotsman fallacy
Ouch, I thought Pitt was a good win, but they're sinking like a rock. Nevermind. So I guess UM has to hope that Kansas State runs through maybe the worst of the BCS conference in basketball, the Big 12.
Man, that schedule is as solid as warm butter. Didn't even see the Pitt stuff until now. Oops.
Blow outs @ Northwestern and against Iowa are impressive.
What are our impressive wins?
No. OTPT was very clear, you don't know till they play! It's too bad we won't get to see CMU match up against the Dukies this year! Not sure who would take that one!
Please dont start a nebraska at um thread next week. When um wins by 30, just like osu did at home last week, the thread will explode into a mass felating of um.
Just be realistic. Um is 2-0 in conference play. They look tough and can shoot the lights out on most nights. MSU is very talented with a coach that has one of the best resumes in all of college basketball. The Big 10 is loaded this year and UM's gauntlet starts next week. When they play more physical teams (Like MSU and Pitt), the games will be much closer.
They can win the Big 10 but I would think most on this board has watched a lot of college basketball. To say they are better without even playing them yet is a stretch. Again, they have had a great start. So did Indiana last year.
Obviously what I meant, good point.
Anybody who views either win as "impressive" is an idiot
The Spartans played very well against a very good Minnesota squad on the road. They cleaned up their game a bit, executed very well, and gave a legitimate top-10 team all they could handle. Trying to claim that it wasn't a moral win is asinine. It was a growing-up moment for this team, even though they lost in the final minutes.
I get that you're trying to be a big tough guy and act like any loss is unacceptable, but it's just fucking stupid. No one is going undefeated in B1G conference play. Hell, I'll be surprised if anyone wins more than 5 road games this season the way this league is stacked. I'm sure Izzo isn't happy about the loss, but you can be damn sure he was glad to see the team step up and play closer to their potential. You should be, too.
Amen to that, my friend. These threads about blowout SCum wins are the proverbial shit stain on the pair of whitey tighties that is the rcmb.
If you're so impressed with those kinds of wins, then we just blew out Purdue, who's pretty much in that same tier as Iowa and Northwestern.
You seem like the type of guy that would have thought TCU would roll into the Big 12 and cream everyone... but then they got owned, doh.
I don't care about blowing out 2 of the worst Big Ten teams. Northwestern didn't even have 2 of their best players in the game. How is that impressive?
If I arm wrestle an 8th grader and slam his arm down, is that impressive? What if I smack around some small little gymnast chick? Does that make me tough? Come on now. The KSU and NC State wins are far, far more impressive than Iowa and Northwestern blowouts. I think just about anyone that has watched 5 seconds of any sporting event would agree.
These threads are solid entertainment for some. If you don't like them, you don't have to read.
Besides, there is usually a "game thread" posted for most Big Ten games (unless they're awful matchups like PSU vs Nebraska). The UM ones just get a little more run for obvious reasons.
