I really does crack me up how butthurt you guys get from him saying the conference needs to get better at recruiting. Then, when another program even SNIFFS a recruit of ours you are already sending him "He Gone" cards and harassing him on twitter. Like what the fuck do you guys want? Some of you are so damn insecure about our football program it's comical.
Yes by reading your post I can definitely tell I'm on the MSU board :).
Can you show me how to fellate?
Who is Pryow?
Pretty weak avatar, btw. I don't see an ass at all.
tRCMB - Where MSU fans eat their own.
Because that's what a POS meyer is. I live in FL, heard plenty, and hated him before he took UF job, he was always a snake oil salesman. An he's two-faced in the worst way.
And you are right about Tressel, he is the ultimate "turn the other cheek" and ignorance-is-bliss coach.
If it doesn't, don't be surprised to see tOSU and scUM leave for another conference together. Staying competitive and relevant on a national level will require it.
Didn't they already to that? I get the Big Two Network on my tv.
Wait what? When is the last time MSU was on probation? The Mid 90s? Both O$Us Football and BBall team have been on probation and have had post season bands since the year 2000. OSU reports how many violations a year? Lets talk about violations since I was born (1980). Hell OSU celebrates a coach WHO PUNCHED A PLAYER! Another coach that cheats on his wife with Co Eds and claims he has health problems. OSU warships scum bags.
I fucking hate Urban Meyer
Hey, remember when we beat you in basketball this year? Hey, remember when you needed a blown MSU td call to beat us in FB this year? I'm sorry, what do you dominate in again?
And you mean the same um that is 1-4 vs. us in the last 5 years in fb?
I'd tell you not to count your chickens until they hatch, but I don't want to insult you anymore, as I know you can't count.
Not sure if this link work's, but here you go
Hey, that's totally fine with me.
I'm comfortable with where MSU is recruiting. They're bringing in more 4-stars than 2-stars (aka, better than a 3.0 star average). I don't see any "reaches" or "MAC" recruits. By average stars they're 27th nationally.
The next step for a program like MSU is to start winning consistently at a high level (9 Ws/year) consistently, with a couple of 10-11 W seasons thrown in where they make the Rose Bowl. I don't see them pulling 14 4-stars without more on-field success; there just isn't the recent history to give an MSU offer the weight of tOSU or UM.
Quite frankly I think it'll take at least a full decade of winning at an average of a 9 W clip to start pushing MSU's recruiting profile better. A NC appearance would accelerate it, as would a Rose Bowl W.
'Lest you think that's impossible, MSU put up 33 points on UGA in a bowl game about 13 months ago. Not a single offensive starter for MSU was given a rating above a 3-star.
It can be done, but it takes red-shirting and great coaching. Want to know why MSU is 27th in average stars, but 39th overall (Rivals)? Because they only took 18 players and Rivals counts the points for the top 20. Why can't MSU take more than 18? Because the program has low attrition; there's great depth across the board.
I bet this year MSU produces a top 25 class; they're going to be able to take a group of 22+. MSU lost a chunk of their 2007 and 2008 classes to the "Rather Hall" incident back in '09, which led to smaller groups of SRs for the '12 and '13 classes. That corrects itself this year.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Good one. However, yes, I have a degree...and have even been a guest lecturer at a few different universities around the country.
Not that my educational chops have anything to do with the discussion.
FYI, when Miller, who is a great talent and in my opinion the best QB we played this year, goes down with injury next season, tosu is toast. meyer doesn't develop back-ups.
You understand clown college isn't a real college, right?

I see you must have one to school at MSU. By saying you are going to whore someone out, you are implying she IS a whore. It's called inferring or inferred meaning. You may go back to your coloring books now.
Funny, because when Miller got injured and Kenny Guiton played and lead the Buckeyes to some late scores through the air, some people were wanting Guiton to play over Miller because he's a better passer. But I guess if you want to believe the narrative that Meyer has nobody ready to go behind Miller, go ahead.
So you're from the "we'll be better than their back-ups" camp.
That illustrates Meyer's point perfectly. Such a philosophy isn't good enough to consistently play with the big boys (whether were talking OSU or any other top 10 team).
You are right actually.... UM blows too. We should just go independent so you guys have a chance to win the conference.
Dumbass, we don't play you in the regular season. And I think MSU can beat you with Miller next year.
And those thinking your back-up is better have no clue how many sacks Miller took off the board due to his legs and strength. Put a pocket passer there in our last game, and tosu is lucky to break 10 points.
Start running off more kids
Bucknuts invasion and Biddle douchery aside, this thread is just an absolute fucking abortion. When have the following schools in this conference EVER recruited Top 25 classes consisently???
Never. Never. That's 2/3 of the league that's never been able to recruit like that... and for about 30 years the conference was respectable. Wisconsin has won the Big Ten three straight years recruiting like that Urban Meyer telling the schools listed above to "go out and recruit better" is like telling Ross to try and go out and score with Kate Upton. Meyer telling coaches to do this is unprofessional at best and being a huge dick at worst.

Judging by your track-record of cheating, getting caught, and losing eligibility; I'm honestly not sure when the next time is you will win a B10 championship without an asterisk next to it...
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
Cardale Jones would have started at MSU this year.... and would have won more games than whoever your current QB is.
You sound so proud. I just don't understand this mindset. It's seriously such a foreign concept to me. Your coach is a filthy, lying slimeball, your athletic program is steeped in university-wide corruption, and you don't care at all. Hell, you're proud.
I hope I would have the decency to be ashamed if our athletic program ever became as corrupt and morally bankrupt as yours.
Cardale? That's a real name?
The dumbass who tweeted that classes are pointless? Yeah, okay. Real gem you guys got there.
