I think you actually made his point for him.
He's Pitbull's bastard son.
Found this gem, you can have him
"Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL classes are POINTLESS,"

Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
Listen douche I have as good a shot if not better of landing Kate Upton than you do.
This was the funniest post in the whole damned thread.
An ummie yapping about MSU/PSU/Wisky recruiting while umaa has trailed each of those schools in the Big Ten standings multiple seasons in the last decade while winning the recruiting ranking.
If you can do a half-assed job of anything, you're a one-eyed man in a kingdom of the blind.
- Kurt Vonnegut
Em, nice try ace. No, you don't, and haven't. Jebus, I have an ex football player that can't read who is "working" at UofM with the ROTC thing. That doesn't count.
Well, you guys have already established an independent bowl season for yourselves.
Look dude, you're not seeing the big picture here. You're talking about other Big 10 programs like they have the same potential at tOSU in recruiting, i.e., ability to get 1/2 of the #2 class from outside the region, and that the only reason they aren't doing it is because of a "philosophy". You're essentially saying that Illinois or Minnesota can recruit at tOSU's level if only they'd try harder!
That's complete B.S.
The only Big 10 programs that can do that are tOSU and to a lesser extent Michigan.
Why? Big histories of winning. That's what it takes to pull 4 and 5-stars from other regions. Other Big 10 teams have to build that reputation before they can make the jump. It's not about just hiring better recruiters, it's about winning on the field and building a reputation.
That takes decades.
UM/tOSU did their program building over the last 40 years and now they're able to reap those rewards. I say this with zero sarcasm: You earned it; enjoy it. Just stop pretending that the rest of the Big 10 is on the same playing field and therefore should be held to the same expectations
Other Big 10 programs didn't keep pace over those 40 years and now there's a prestige gap. Guess what? That's not going to be overcome in a single season or even 5. I think it'll take 10+, likely 20, for a team to raise it's national recruiting profile.
There's no shortcut legally. I think it shows a real lack of self-awareness that a group of Buckeyes, the most successful Big 10 program over the past 15 years, would waltz over to another Big 10 board and complain about how that program isn't doing enough to compete with tOSU in recruiting. Of course MSU isn't keeping pace with tOSU in recruiting; they don't have tOSU's national cache.
[b]Guess what. You're Ohio State. You get the perks and benefits of being a national power. Guess what else? Not every program has those perks; it's not a level playing field.
I'm good with how MSU is recruiting. It's not nationally elite, but it's good enough to keep MSU in the Big 10 hunt. I don't need a bunch of Buckeyes swarming in here talking smack because MSU can't pull 5-stars from Texas and disparaging the program for failing to do so. MSU is working its way up the CFB ladder, but it's a long long process. MSU won't magically jump into the top 10 in recruiting overnight.
Now, if you guys want to have a serious discussion about how recruiting works for the non-national powers, I'm down.
If you just want to sit back and rip on our posters and school, then kindly go back to Bucknuts.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
MSU leads the BIG in probation, and is in the top 10 of all time offenders, maybe look in the mirror as you throw mindless accusations around.
So why didn't Urban take the Illinois job if any place in the Big 10 can bring in solid talent?
Yes under 1996 and the coach was FIRED! So 17 years ago. OSU's programs have both have had postseason bans in the century. Once as recent as this past year. But yeah lets talk about violations under Perles (which still pale in comparison to violations under Tressel), and UM and OSU getting pissed at Duffy because he was dominating the Big Ten.
So come talk to me when MSU received a post season ban, in the post Clinton ERA.
Those dumb asses would have got to play ND for a NC this year if they weren't so stupid. Now, Urban will have to play Nick again if they ever have a season like they did. You know, the guy who absolutely CHASED him out of the SEC.
I mean this as a compliment. You may be short on brains over here but at least you have the balls to allow a little smack fight over here. Those commi's on the scum boards would have banned us all 6 pages ago. Your board is much better. So lets make a deal. If you guys can have at least one flip worthy recruit a year and can keep beating scum on a regular basis, you can stay in our conference. Thanks for an enjoyable evening and tolerating this banter on your board. Feel free to bring one of these over to our board anytime.
And Marine recruiting isn't "Guest Lecturing".
Just remember Woody Hayes was responsible for the probation that put MSU down after Denny Stolz appeared to be making inroads in Ohio. The same Woody Hayes who broke recruiting rules regularly .
Also known as the guy who, due to the inherent disadvantages of coaching(and recruiting players to) MSU, left for greener pastures.

Did I miss something, was he offered the Illinois job?
Is your picture supposed to be hot?
You are a gentleman and a scholar!
A college education?
Make a deal back with you. Stop whining about how other Big 10 teams are recruiting until at least 1 of UM or tOSU makes the CCG.
12-0.... Dial It!!!
IMHO you are dead wrong about Meyer, our athletic program and the school. However, I certainly understand your seeing through green colored glasses and being jealous of a more successful program.
That said, yes I'm proud as hell to have Urban as our coach and of the success he has brought in such a short period of time.
I can't help with your understanding. However, I do find your "moral indignation" amusing. I guess you'll just have to look down on us for what you perceive to be our moral inferiority...and we'll look down on you for your actual athletic mediocrity. A quasi "agree to disagree" situation I suppose.
This thread is absolutely pricless . I wish I had enough votes to give them out to every post.
I especially love the ones who are wigged about the "poaching"... Just perfect.
One point to dwags... you have no idea who or what you are talking about. I have met and know Jarhead... He is not only an American Hero, he is one of the smartest people I have ever met.
Fine, disagree with his posts... this is a free country (thanks to Jar) and that is your right. Jar is a Buckeye... hate him for that...he honestly wouldn't give a shit. But don't ever for a second think he is a liar or something he says he's not.
But other then that... please keep whining...psu got all boring since they got a good coach...I love to read this stuff. Thank you all!!!
