So it's 7-5 the last 12, with this year going to overtime and the year before the game was won on a broken play hail mary. Could just as easily be 7-5 UW. But true to form buckeye fan is oblivious.

You are in the minority on that. No one wants to go 6-6 all the time. What would be the fun in that?
None of these idiots care...they enjoy being average and bitch about the ones who are getting it done.
BUT BCS games are a diff story. 5-3 I believe is the correct #....Wisky 0-3, Scum1-1, anyone esle???? I may have forgotten some, but who else has played in a BCS game? I forget
The only people who don't care about recruiting rankings are the ones that don't recruit well...and lose by 42 in a bowl game in a season they call their most successful
Sorry but yes he and his staff are working harder
maybe in 25 years global warming will make living in the south unbearable and the population will shift back north!!!!!!!!!!

NO MSU beat you on a Hail Mary that year, Smith got behind your receivers.....but the point is THE CONFERENCE as a whole needs to step up
I will give you last year, when you had two staffs, but by what metric are you measuring how hard is is working VS let's say.. Fitz?

How so ?
These OSU fans are like Michigan fans...
No need for any qualifier, you guys are two douches in a pack.
I'm sure all the other coaches in the B1G turned down the offer to be on the MNC show because they are just lazy.
I understand this, but to win more you have to recruit better. It's like what comes first the chicken or the egg?
MSU lost Pittman, UM lost Conley, Wisky lost a few guys, and PSU's class was absolutely raided last year. I don't think Urban wants better talent from the other B1G schools so he can poach better talent. I think he actually wants that word done away with completely. He talks about his POV in his signing day presser. He wants to change the whole attitude of the B1G, he wouldn't mind and even expects people to come after his recruits so he does the same. That's what I took out of it.
I think you are being a little harsh. lol But you get it!!! I know the $EC is paying players, etc. But they aren't paying them all. Some are being sold a line of B.S. and they don't know any better and don't think there are any options.
The Big Ten just needs to get more aggressive in their approach to recruiting. I'd love to see the big ten turn into the "cool" conference to play in. I think it could be done. Big ten just needs to market itself. It is hard when ESPiN is constantly pimping the SEC and they keep winning the NC though. Maybe it'll take an Ohio State or another
BT team to prove a big ten team can win one (presently) to get the ball rolling?
I've always been a big ten fan. I'd like nothing more for a big ten team win the national championship even if it isn't OSU. Maybe I'm delusional but I think it can be done by more than one or two in the conference. Look at your team that beat Georgia. A team a few players away from being a REAL NC team.IMO
As some have said, a team with a bunch of three star players (if coached up and developed) can be dangerous. Just imagine adding a few big time 4 and 5 star players to the mix. All of a sudden, you are NC caliber. I truly believe Meyer just wants to see the Big Ten succeed. I don't think he's as evil as some make him out to be. Listen to his press conferences. He's about as straight of shooter as you'll find in college or pro football.
"according to a source familiar with the goings on behind the doors of the WHAC,there is absolutely no panic.Actually, quite the contrary."
And honestly, Meyer can fuck off. I could take the job at OSU and sign 6 five stars next year. It's like Cal at UK telling whoever the coach is at Auburn, hey man, what's your problem? Why aren't you pulling in more five stars? Let's go!
It's not an apples to apples comparison Meyer ya dumbass. OSU football, Kentucky basketball, Florida football...they recruit themselves. But regardless, I'd love to see the interaction when Meyer "calls out" the other guys face to face for not bringing in better players. (as if they're not trying to get the best guys possible)
Not sure what it will be.... We'll let you know once he actually loses.
Well, there's Trey Johnson from Auburn, Von Bell from Alabama/Tenn, Eze Elliot from Missouri, James Clark from Florida, not a bad haul.
So, you're good? Wouldn't change a thing?
'We are attacking that like animals right now.'
I also agree with this too. I see what Urban is saying and think he has a point but he's an idiot if he thinks everyone can do what OSU is doing.
Quick, someone hire this guy as a recruiter, guarantees 6 five star recruits next year!

Shit men, lets grow up here. I don't about you but I'm sick of the B1G being a national laughing stock. We all have our excuses: ESPN is in the tank, the weather is too cold, over signing, academics, they're cheaters, and on and on. I say it's about damn time we expect more. Urban Meyer might be the best thing for the B1G because he can bring a competitive nature back to the conference. Here are some improvements he's mentioned:
- Play more night games. Easier for recruits to attend; national audience; better atmosphere
-better coaches. Meyers number 1 requirement was passion for recruiting from assistant coaches
- Better recruiting strategy. One UM recruits parents admitted that B1G recruiting pales in comparison to SEC
Lets stop making excuses and bitching about those who beat us. MSU and most other B1G schools have a lot to offer. Lets recruit like it!
To the badger fan. I can use favorable timelines as well. OSU has won 5/6 against wisky since 2007.
Are you SERIOUS?
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
Loss your last 3 and five outta 6 to OSU

I root for Michigan State. The whole "enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing.
But you guys are really mad that Urban Meyer thinks the Big Ten needs to step its game up in recruiting? Seriously? The third-best recruiting class in the Big Ten per the 247Composite is Nebraska at 23rd. That's embarrassing and it's no secret why the Big Ten has fallen behind in football. Recruiting is the lifeblood of every program. Penn State, with sanctions like we've never seen, is fourth in the Big Ten in recruiting? (26th overall.)
Sorry, I can relate to you guys because (although some won't admit it) every OSU fan used to hate Urban Meyer too. But he's 100 percent right here. Iowa needs to recruit better than MAC schools, for instance.
