One of them might renege on their word if they are still a high pick. This is hilarious though because of all the recruits that are coming in that thought they would start or get a ton of playing time. Not so much anymore.
World Wide Wes will work it out.
So if they land that other top recruit today, do any of their other guys decommit? There will be a huge log jam and not a lot of minutes for the new guys coming in. Most of them don’t seem like the kind of guys who want to ride the pine for a year. *cough**Young*cough*
With how good these guys coming in are supposed to be, it might be these 3 "two and dones" that end up on the bench. Should just take the money and get your few years in the league.
5 of the 6 commits for the UK 2013 class have already signed LOIs (according to here: http://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/kentucky ) Only the C, Dakari Johnson, could decommit. Cal instead would just convince Wiltjer to transfer or Hood or Polson to hang it up.
UK has six 5 star players this year and they just lost to Bob Morris.
Poythress should go
The other 2 should stay
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
This just in....Kentucky will field two teams next year.
Suggestions for nicknames welcome.
the issue for kentucky wont be the scholarships, but playing time.
gonna be a lot of pissed off players if those guys come back, since most of their incoming guys already signed their LOIs.
Wiltjer is a really useful player if he doesn't have to play 25 minutes. Really good outside shooter that can stretch the floor. He should be a role player on an elite team, not a starter.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
According to ESPN, all three are top 20 prospects in this year's draft. I'll be shocked if any of them are students next year.
Goodwin is going pro and Harrow is transferring (for the second time). That frees up 2 spots.
Kentucky has announced that Archie Goodwin is leaving early for the NBA while Willie Cauley-Stein and Kyle Wiltjer will be back next season.
He should. He's still a borderline lottery pick and one of the Harrison twins will start over him at point next year. I love that MSU plays UK early. We will see if MSU has the talent to play with the most talented team in the country.
