I loved watching him at Wayne State, and he's doing great tonight with the Lions. I hope he sticks.

Hide yo quarterbackz, hide yo kidz, the MSU defense is here
Saw him play in high school. I'm rooting for him to do well.
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
He was an absolute monster at Wayne State. I saw him break a shitload of records his senior year as a Warrior. He's looking pretty solid in the NFL so far, but if he had more of a second gear he could start for any team in the league.
Anyone who has met him says he is just an awesome person. Kid just hasn't found the right system he was at NO, Buf and Phi when they all had a crap ton of RB's on the roster
A friend haf a class with him and said that he was a very serious and quiet dude. Also said that he's built like a brick shithouse.
He always does well in the preseason and rushes for a bunch of yards and then still gets cut.
Well, he's apparently made it to the right team. The Lions' "One-Two" punch is 1) out indefinitely, and 2) returning from injury so he can serve a 2-game suspension to open the year.
Which leaves Kevin Smith (of the ever-broken or strained something) as the starting RB, and he magically pulled something in training camp a couple days ago.
Yep, I'd say Joique should make himself right at home.
Thank you, Denicos.
GL to him.
That's exactly what I was thinking last night. Bell has a great chance to stick around and get some carries those first 2 games while LeShoure is gone. Say that Best is healthy during the season (unlikely imo), would the Lions still have to keep a 4th back active behind Logan amirite? So Bell is pretty much competing with Keiland Williams for that spot it seems.
If -- if -- Joique shows up big the next couple of preseason games, against higher-level competition (e.g., 1st, 2nd & 3rd string, rather than 4th string defenses), and Best ends up on PUP, I think in that situation Logan is the guy to go, not Bell. This would leave the RB roster as Leshoure ([old_jud_smilie]), Kevin Smith, Keiland Williams, and Bell, with Best as the wild card.
A lot of ifs, I know, but still a possibility.
5 carries for 35 yards, 3 receptions for 44 yards last night against the Ravens. Solid, keep it up.
He fumbled in the endzone though. itll cost him
Pretty bad fumble on what could have been a TD. Otherwise looked good.
Like he was stripped? or like, "Oops, that's not right!"
Heard it on the radio that someone popped it out from behind
I saw the fumble. Really nice run before that too. A defender came across his body and got his helmet on the ball/his arm as he was about to cross the goal line. Too bad for him.
Lions's beat writer for the Freep:
Can't fumble there. "@Donb2120: Does Bell have a shot to make the team? I thought he looked great besides his fumble."

It was a perfect strip, and it was sad that Bell looked crushed after the play.
Finally made a 53- man roster and is dressed to play today! Make us Warriors proud, and take care of that football. Go eat.
Tears in my eyes right now.
Way too cool!
I'd honestly never heard of him until I opened this thread 10 minutes ago. He scored right after. Very cool.
Are you related to him?
Nah but fishrose and I have been following him since he broke basically every record a running back can break at Wayne State. He was a security guard for the Lions while he was in undergrad even. He is super-humble, spartan-like work ethic. Good for him, good for WSU football to get mentioned too.
Nice!! It's definitely a feel good story and for those who actually followed the kid growing up, it's even more special.
