We hold them to 4 FG's and can't win, pathetic.

Agree, can't lose a game to a team that doesn't ever see the end zone. Our offense is pathetic.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
Agreed. They aren't the scapegoats today. I'm proud as fuck of our D.
Truth. Defense did their part. C'mon offense! rrrrrrrrrrrrgh
I understand that Leveon Bell was not effective, but I didn't understand why you didn't run him 3 times and make Michigan use the 2 timeouts they had left and run the clock down as far as it could go. I thought up to that point States offensive gameplan was good this game, and the best I have seen you guys play specifically in the short and intermediate passing game all season. Either way great game MSU, best game of the big ten season so far and one of the best of the college football year. Good luck next week in Madison.

Totally agree that roushar is the big problem, but Narduzzi is just stupid enough to lose every week. Why did we stop blitzing detard? It's been working for three and three-quarter games!
Vim -- noun: robust energy and enthusiasm : VITALITY
They were pinned and UM was primed for the run so I can see why Roushar went for the pass. We needed more pressure on UM on that last 20 yard pass. Looked like we rushed only 3.

BS. Defense needs to step up and win games. It has had plenty of opportunities and FAILED
Wake me when they make a SINGLE play when it counts.
They blew it at the end. Just like against tOSU and Iowa. A heroic effort means dick if you cant finish.
Yeah it's all about finishing. You gotta close the game out!
I would half agree. There is one thing that we could ask for more in: takeaways. A pick six, an interception taken to opponent territory, or a forced fumble taken into enemy territory... That is exactly what MSU needs considering their (lack of an) offense.
I think it was a team loss today.
Just have to keep the bowl streak going. That's really what it comes down to.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
It's all that's left!
I'm sure that pizza bowl appearance will be a nail biter.
That's where they're at right now.
What the fuck?! Things are so bad we can't even get to the Wing bowl? Outrageous!
We'd be doing ourselves a big favor to get into a bowl game this year to get Maxwell some experience for next year. Unfortunately, it's hard to see us winning either of the next two.
Meh, I am off the Maxwell as next year's automatic starter bandwagon. Let Terry play
I think you guys beat Nebraska at home and I don't see why you can't give Wisky a great game let alone beat them unless the team is still reeling from this loss.
Wisky is better than Michigan. That's why.
I don't think they are, your staff is too good to allow them to tank. MSU will make a bowl game at the very least and will beat 1 of Nebraska and Wisconsin if not both.
-I had to listen to the radio, but I kept thinking a bootleg short pass to a tight end would have been the perfect call on first down there. And when they ran it up the middle for 2 yards instead it was predictable that they would pass on 2nd down. What happened after the 1st drive of the second half? I thought D'antonio took over the play calls, why did the offense turtle up again after that?
The missed FG in the first half didn't cost the game, you should be able to overcome one missed FG. It was the Maxwell pick when they had all the momentum up 9-7

7-5. Cousins couldn't touch Nebraska. Is it possible to have negative points? Wisconsin actually plays right to our strength, we win close and ugly in Madison. NW is good enough to beat us, but they won't. Minnesota will piss us off, and it will look just like the EMU game. But we win there as well.
Just sad. No way this should be a 7-5/6-6 team.
