Duwan Anderson is the last one available. As of right now, next year we will have 12 players on scholarship. Still can add one more.
Eddit: sorry didn't see his name posted early

Brother to the most annoying undergrad poster....sorry;
Love you Pelon
And the Blue Wall strikes again......."Alvin Ellis signs with MSU after backing out of Minnesota commitment"
From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130424/SPORTS0202/304240455#ixzz2RQ7l0ASc
Thanks for posting, HillSpartan. That is a really nice looking jumper. A defender/shooter is exactly what we need. Hopefully he excels at both early in his career.
For whoever was the dickhead wondering if "3-star UTR" guys are the norm, here's what our projected starting line-up looks like for next year:
Appling - 4* McD's AA
Harris - 5* McD's AA
Dawson - 5* McD's AA
Payne - 5*
And the 5th guy will be Valentine (4*) if we go small or Costello (4*) if we go big.
Welcome to State Alvin.
I enjoyed watching his You Tubes, but can some Chicago prep guy give me the inside on Alvin. . . is he predominantly right or left handed. . . (please no Drew Neitzel fluff). . . most of his dunks look left handed, but his three point shooting appears to be right handed.
We have enough scholarships for both Ellis and Payne, if that's what you're asking.
Very happy to see we signed another for 2013. Could be losing Payne, Dawson, Harris, and Appling next year. The next guys up gotta have experience.

Welcome Alvin, hope to see you wearing these during warmups
I'm no basketball superstar, but wouldn't that just make him right handed? I'm left handed, and would jump off my left foot to dunk with my right hand (on an 8 ft rim ).
@AEllis21 Proud to be apart of the Spartan family! #SpartanNation #GoGreen
This is correct. And it also shows how important Schilling and Ellis are to adding class balance to this team with what we will lose come 2014. Losing Appling, Harris and possibly even Dawson in one off-season will create a big void on the perimeter and having a guy like Ellis will help ease that transition to life after those guys.
Not really what I was asking but hopefully Payne will be coming back as well.
If Payne leaves (or Harris) it would have caused a domino effect on the #s in the actual player roster rotation.
If you're a right handed player, you would most often prefer to jump off of your left leg. Your overall point is correct, though. If you shoot your jumper right-handed, you're right-handed. He may just be comfy using his left close to the hole.
If he is a power two foot jumper, I could see him dunking with either hand.

Is he still 6'5" without the doo?
Its five o'clock somewhere.
After putting all of our energy into Parker and still able to land two recruits is awesome
Anyone know why Rivals is reporting Ellis as signing his LOI today but Schilling is still a verbal?
Excited for an athletic 6'5 wing that shot 40% from distance the last 2 years, according to coach.
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
Because Rivals sucks. Schilling tweeted a picture of himself signing his LOI. MSU reported it with a release as well.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Thx. I thought I had read Schilling signed his LOI same day or shortly after.
Welcome to MSU.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
6'5 guard that shoots 40% from 3 AND can finish at the hole AND defend ..... is this not EXACTLY what we needed to spell Harris and Appling? I have to say.... likely a 4 year player too - love those players that are under superstar status by most people's standards but stick around the program and turn into superstars at our program. Awesome sign TO!
Hoping he redshirts. Reminds me a bit of Kearney but a better shooter.
Don't think he redshirts, though. Because we could use his three point shooting next year. Good pick up. Go green! And welcome aboard to an elite program, Alvin!
