First, congrats Tirico for calling it before replay showed it, and redeeming Nix.
That said, FLOP. Not just a flop, but a flop to draw a T, just like zeller. And crean immediately started crying for the T. Dude went down, into his elbow, and then had a reaction to rival the boxer from 2 weeks ago.
F You, IU.
THEY LOST. Relax, go have a brew and get laid...or jerk off, whichever is your preference
Crean is a scumbag. Also wtf is up with his hair??
That's not what this is about, it's about Crean teaching dirty flops even worse than Bo.
I agree with you. It's disgusting.
Yeah. Crean was looking for the T.
Is making Bo look like an Angel.
Wisconsin flops, IU fakes injuries.
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
That's pretty pathetic. Hopefully someone puts up a YouTube of him putting on an acting clinic during the timeout.
It most definitely looked like he was setting up a scenario for a flop situation on a possible inbounds trap, he was actually laughing while the huddle was breaking up. And then he goes berserk as soon as the whistle blew, exactly what he did after the Zeller v. Nix b.s. Screw this goofy bastard.
I wondered why Tirico was taking so long to tell the Nix story in such detail, then he mentioned that after the game replays showed...exactly what he was getting at, IU fakes injury. Dude's head was 6 inches+ away from the elbow when he went down "in pain."
Agree with the consensus... Crean is developing some dirty players there.
The B1G needs to call him on that crap.
Nίκη για MSU
Appears to be little doubt Crean set that up.
Any video of the Shehee play?
i'm not being helpful with video, but I did sort of think when I was watching it that it looked like he was intentionally putting his face in elbow range.
If he's called out on it and denies it, he's a liar.
That's what I thought at first, but then it got worse- the Minn guy, who didn't even know the IU guy's head was dropped to around his midsection, swung around with elbows tight to his body and completely missed the set-up for the fake attempt of murder, so the IU guy a good 1-2 seconds after realizing the elbow passed simply went limp and flat to the floor like he was knocked the F out.
This is one of those things were a coach coaches to take advantage of a rule, then will turn around and say he's coaching within the rules and is simply being competitive and doing what he has to to get an advantage for his team. Complete BS.
Let's see if this becomes a talking point.
Submarine Captain Crean....'dive' 'dive'
I think I'll wait till sparticuss weighs in on the subject
How long have you been following this conference?
I have to see this. Link anyone?
There is a gif of Crean in the huddle showing his players how to swing elbows or take elbows to the face. Not sure how to post gifs though.
Like a photo...
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
You Tube link instead
Wow, just...wow. There's no question what he is telling them in that huddle combined with his eruption after the whistle (exactly the same as the nut-tag, what a coincidence). Very, very disappointing. Loved the guy until these last few instances. Pretty clear he is willing to cheat and skirt the rules to win. You've let Izzo down, Tom. Sad.
That's what you call a smoking gun.
