If a UM fan offered to purchase my two tickets for the UM-MSU game tomorrow for $600 (going price on Stubhub) would I be a bad fan for selling them?
What about $800?
What price level does it get to where I'm an idiot for not selling them and therefore no longer a bad fan?
if you ask me... you're an idiot for selling your MSU tickets to a scum fan, period.
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
I think $1,000 for basketball is reasonable. You can keep probably $800 and buy another ticket for $200.
no price, you are a bad fan for even considering it.
Worse than Hitler, Stalin, and herpes combined into one large, inflamed, anti-Semitic mixture.
We've already established that you're a bad fan, now we are just haggling on price.

You're already a bad fan
and your seat neighbors will shun you forever, and pour coke on your seat before you get there every game.
As an Oriole Fan, I’ve been in situations where I just didn’t sell my tickets, because I couldn’t live with the idea of Yankee/Red Sox fans over taking the place.
I’d let the seats go empty, before selling out to my enemy. It’s only money after all.
Piss off and show up to the fucking game....or make a competition between students on campus and make them earn the tickets based off enthusiasm
To die in ann arbor is redundant
You should only sell them if you make enough money to fund the old board for life, and I'm not sure you should do it for that price because its 2 more weasels in the stands that nobody wants there.
This year I wouldn't sell to a UM fan, I'd rather eat the cost. It would be difficult to do even when they're bad, but this year, selling to a UM fan is just plain reckless, unless you plan to booby-trap the seat. Then it's ok.
Well duh, I'm not actually selling them....it just seems like there's gotta be a price limit there somewhere that it comes full circle and becomes acceptable.
You're only a bad fan if you buy your wife a $500 hand bag with the proceeds.

I'd like to see the poll results for this question.

Sell them for the price of airline tickets to Atlanta. Be sure to record the section and seat numbers. Once sold, call the police and report the tickets as stolen.
It becomes acceptable when you make the market value, plus enough to bribe the Bres to allow students to have signs.
This x infinity.

The price, including tax and shipping, of 4 season tickets to UM Basketball in Crisler. You can make certain there are 4 empty seats for important games, and 4 MSU fans there for the MSU game. That might be the ONLY answer I'd tolerate. Letting blue-idjits into The Breslin simply because they outbid you is tantamount to fan-treason.
My Blood Runs Green.....
Selling your tickets to a UM at any price makes you a bad fan. You just have to decide if you want to be a bad fan OR if you want to be stupid for not selling your tickets for a lot of money.
I don't think there is an absolute value, rather it is an incremental amount.
How much is a Spartan fan willing to pay you for your seats - say $500....how much more than that is it before you are a bad fan for selling them to a Piss/Blue fan?
Oh by the way - I'll give you $50 bucks for the 2 of them (and another $10 spot for your parking pass) - Thanks in advance!
What price level does it get to where I'm an idiot for not selling them?
I think is the better question, leave the bad fan out of it. I get where Barnes is going with this.....
$1000, $2000, $5000, $10,000 I think everyone has a limit for a 2 hr game regardless of opponent or what type of fan they are.
Anybody saying they wouldn't sell 2 tickets for some price to a um fan is an idiot.
I too wonder how much "more", if at all, M fans are willing to spend tomorrow pm. There ought to be just as many MSU fans who are willing to pay the same amount as Scum fans, right?
Or are they so desperate for glory that it's one sided right now??
There is romance in all of us
I would never sell MSU tickets to a scUMmer. It's unconscionable.
