Time to buy some not-so-shiny black shoes to wear with jeans then...ESPECIALLY those you have pictured.
Grey pants and brown shoes = fail
You've gotta wear black shoes with those pants.
I always go straight for the clearance page
I had to return the black ones I purchased last week (that I posted in your other thread, they sent me two different sizes) and since I paid via paypal they couldn't refund my money, so I had to bite the bullet and find a pair in store...which cost me $35 more than the ones I got online. But the new ones were $90 as well. The price you pay to be a premium dresser.
blue or beige. I would wear argyle fwiw
If I'm wearing blue jeans with black shoes, I tend to wear black socks. Blue socks with with jeans and black shoes just feels and looks weird to me, and even more so if I'm wearing a black shirt with blue jeans. If I'm going with brown shoes, I'll try to match my socks with the shirt color I'm wearing.
I just don't believe brown shoes go with gray pants in any situation. Time to sack up and buy some black shoes that aren't so dressy.
BUY YOUR MAN SOME NOT-SO-DRESSY BLACK SHOES!
How in the world did you allow him to arrive at this dilemma in first place?
Sorry but you are looking for the impossible. Grey jeans are the only option here?

I'm the same way. If i'm wearing my loafers with jeans, I'll just match the shoes for color. Especially if i'm wearing black ones. Wearing blue socks with black shoes seems wrong.
No, but brown shoes are the only option here.
I think you're supposed to wear black shoes with dark grey.
+1 to McCrackin for saying it 1st.

embrace your inner lumberjack and wear jeans

Last time I checked, in 2012 brown shoes still look lame with gray pants.

I literally haven't worn a pair of jeans, blue or otherwise, in over a decade. My wife had never seen me wear them until last week and we've been married almost 10 years.
Keep the shoes, but switch to any shade of brown for pants. Problem solved.
I can't even imagine that. Hell, I don't think I've gone a day in the past decade WITHOUT wearing jeans.
I've just always found khakis to be more comfortable.
Last time I wore those ( I think - Aldo's?) with gray jeans ...
I came home with a chick ... Just sayin.

The goal is not to "come home with a chick". I'm 8 months pregnant.. Oh wait, maybe that IS the goal.. Haha.
This thread is ridiculous. I would have just said order some black shoes. Jeesh.
Then why didn't you before he started the thread?
