of the "247 Sports Update"?
i have a feeling everyone's gonna be on board.
I'm curious to see if they finally deliver anything.

Fantastic. I can already see the improvements!
tRCMB - Where MSU fans eat their own.

Im more excited to see tBoners get upset about it.

Its bankruptcy can't get here soon enough. Hopefully struggling sites like 247michigan are pulling it down.
It was stickied at the top of the page with a -47 vote. 2 above the rules of the board that you skate every day.
This is from 247Sports CEO Shannon Terry:
Since we have all eyes on us right now, it’s probably a good idea to go over some of our produ
Now at -48.
Not sure why you want Spartantailgate.com to go away, but I guess that's your prerogative.
I just miss the old vBulletin. My sweet, sweet vBulletin.

Where would everyone go?
Probably somewhere that would ban them a lot faster than here
I really doubt that spartantailgate would go away. Back when it was still at vBulletin how much was the domain worth? $500k - $750k, maybe more? If it has lost that much value coming to 247 that is sad. If tRCMB is truly the largest and most viewed MSU sportsboard on the internet it will survive without 247. But I know you have to tow the company line.
Seriously though, spartanmag? Hondo's message board? Lol. This place is the premier MSU board. If 247 were to go under there wouldn't be any independent revival of tRCMB by trevor or anyone?
No. I'm towing the "why the hell would Trevor want to re-create this site again somewhere else?" line. I could be wrong and he could sell it to someone if 247 went under, but if people didn't notice, he wasn't exactly interested in running this site anymore.
Obviously. Which sucks. I doubt it ever came with benefits like free tickets and behind the scenes information as to what really goes on. I mean, I hate my job, but I love the free golf, fishing, hotel rooms, travel and everything that comes with it, just not the work and annoying people I have to deal with.
It seems like people like believing that without 247, Trevor would go back to vBulletin and things would go back to "normal". I just don't think that's the case.
gonna have to get that llc back in good standing...
Good for Trevor, and I mean that. 247 isn't really going under already are they?
I'm not worried..
No. Last I heard the network was continuing to gain members and subscribers.
Its a shame, because this place used to be one of the best on the internet. It was never about recruiting. It was about MSU first, MSU sports second, MSU alum and fans coming together to fight and bond on the internetz. A messageboard where people who mostly had something in common had a place to call their 'CHEERS'. Now, its all about recruiting. Its a shame, this used to be one of the most unique sites on the internet, now it is anonymous.
I just hope that Trevor was able to cash out enough to help take care of his firstborn.
Trevor still owns the site, so he's yet to cash out. I miss what the site was, but to me, I miss what it was in 2006. Not what it was in 2010. Recruiting on tRCMB now is about 10% of the threads, so I don't agree with that premise either. On the old board, I started the recruiting forum because people kept posting brand new threads about recruits since they never searched for them. It was maybe about 5-7%. A little bit less, but it was always there.
