I'm sorry AA. It seems like since I joined the board it's been all down hill since then.
The focus here is recruiting. 247 is a recruiting site. I was around in 2006. I think I started lurking in 2002 or 2003, finally created an account in 2005. The recruiting was on the old site, but nothing like it is now. I think it has more to do with everyone knowing that the owners of 247 hate having a messageboard and everyone that is here knowing that they were on better messageboards in 2001, like EZBoard, and given bullshit answers about easy programming issues. Too bad a poll can't be taken, because I'm guessing if tRCMB was $10 a month as an independent, a lot more people would happily pay that...I know I would.
Now knowing what 1995 is like all over again! Thank you 247 technology!!
247 is a recruiting "network". tRCMB is not a recruiting message board. Duff and Breslin are recruiting message boards. tRCMB completely isn't.
People need to take a poll to see who wants to go start up a brand new message board and collect $10 a piece.
That's not the poll you need to make. It wouldn't be tRCMB.
It's an "update".
Why someone would throw out 1/2 million dollars, because they are 'tired' is beyond me.
Calling a place tRCMB if Trevor sells it is like calling the Baltimore Ravens "The Cleveland Browns".
You need to make that a "check all that apply" vote.
Let's be real. Who was really going to give him half a million? Those valuation calculators aren't really that accurate.
Investors. Worst case scenario would be MSU wanting to buy this place out to try to make it student and alumni 'friendly'.
Who DA fuq would buy it? When you boil it down isn't this just an Internet message board?
