Captain? Sailor Jerry? Admiral Nelson? Bacardi Oakheart? Blackbeard?
I used to drink Captain all the time, I am now regularly buying Bacardi Oakheart (lower price, better flavor) and Sailor Jerry (higher proof, better flavor).
Just curious what else everyone drinks, I was loyal to Captain as it was the first and only spiced rum I had drank for years, now after finally jumping outside of the box, there are much much better products out there, kinda pissed I wasted so much time buying a name and not a product.
Captain Morgan Black
Sailor Jerry for me, but tried Bacardi and was pretty good. Still tend to drink Captain a lot though just because it's so prevalent.
get the new Nike MSU font: http://tinyurl.com/spartansfont
There's much better than the Captain name out there believe me, you should try em!
Kraken is much better than Captain black.
I've learned anything that Captain has bottled......someone has something better, they just use the name to get people to drink it.
Admiral Nelson, what a guy. Gets you just as drunk, at half the price.
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
Goslings is good. Not spiced but a great dark rum.
but my all time favorite run (fuck spiced) is this stuff
You see who this is? I guess they had to have another account after GorillaGlue got deep sixed.
It was new to me about a year ago. Give it a try if you have not had it. I think it's like $20 a fifth. Very good.
For a black rum, definitely the Kraken.
Pretty sure that's a whiskey.

But such a good one, it should still be acceptable here.
Blackheart, it's the same proof as Sailor Jerry's but only 14 dollars or so a fifth
don't like rum
once or twice a year when the apple cider hits the stores a fifth of captain's private stock is ok
used to get bacardi ron anos before I basically quit drinking rum, guess it was not bad
We've got depth. We've got numbers.
Blackheart is surprisingly good. I am actually hooked on Seven Fiji right now, they had it half off because no one was buying it, I tried it, Damn Good. Then they had a fire sale, $5 per bottle, I bought up. I think it's the water they use.
until you have to shit
Siesta Key rum is sooo good.
In MI I found out New Holland Brewery has rum and other liquors. They're pretty good too.
Usually we have some bacardi laying around. Nothing special
Kraken was my fave until Captain released Black. Might have to try that 12 year old shite from Binnys.
Captain Morgan Tattoo. That's spiced, right? Much smoother and less syrup-y than the regular Captain. Can't drink that shit since I graduated college.
I prefer Bacardi Silver. No spice is nice.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Captain Morgan - Used to be big on this, not so much now. Still a good cheap go-to.
Captain Morgan Private Stock - Love it.
Captain Morgan Tattoo - Love it. Probably one of my favorites.
Captan Morgan Double Charred Black - Really good dark rum. Liked it a bit more than Kraken.
Sailor Jerry - Pretty good. Gets you drunk faster than CM.
Admiral Nelson - Not a fan. Cheap though.
Kraken - Pretty damn good. It's not as amazing as some people make it out to be though. Still, one of the better rums i've tried.
