My all time favorite rum is diplomatic I exclusva reserva. From Nicaragua.
I'm going to try making some of my own spiced rum soon.
Take some hq Chinese five spice (1 tablespoon) add to a bottle of goslings. Shake. Leave overnight. Strain and bottle.
Got that from morganthaler
Mt Gay Rum oldest rum distillery in the world (supposedly) I fell in love with it when I went to Barbados
keep in mind, its not spiced, I have these little mini snifters from the Navy that my Grandpa gave to me, just a sipping rum, and it'll warm you up quick
A bottle of Oakheart was left at my house. It's actually not bad on the rocks.
Appleton Estate Reseve
Appleton 12 > Reserve
also a good 12 year rum
I agree. The best combination of value and taste that I've found.
Agree completely. Admiral Nelson is the rum for college students.
Don't doubt it. I haven't tried the 12 yet. If it is better than the Reserve, I need to try it.
Took your advice and yeah, for the price and cool bottle Kraken is much better!
I'm a big fan of flor de Cana, all their rums are really good, plus their white rum is extra dry so while still sweet it is nowhere near as sweet as others. Their gold is pretty tasty as well and at around 18 bucks a bottle not to bad at all
Captain. It may not be the best but it's good enough and reasonably priced. I'm going to mix it with Coke no matter what it is so it will mask the real taste quite a bit anyway.
I've learned there's no reason to spend so much money on alcohol and be a snob about it. Being poor has helped me learn this.
Pyrat. Best rum on the market today. From the makers of Patron.
