11 of the 21 segments are led by a Japanese car. Japanese cars are not necessarily exciting to drive but they are thoroughly engineered for reliability. The myth is that American cars are unreliable.

Not talking about engineering, talking about reliability. Mercedes are better engineered but not as reliable. Find me some proof that Japanese cars are not more reliable than those from the US and Germany.
