He couldn't even stand up. How could he have gone in?

Joe Rexrode tweeted that neither green nor the doctors are sure what is wrong.
This could be good.... It will allow us to grow as a team. Gauna and Byrd will get regular minutes backing up Thonrton at the 4. Therefore, Kearney will get Thorntons regular minutes behind Wood and Dawson. When (if) Green comes back we will be a deeper team.

Okay, but that wasn't believable. You posting it without a disclaimer makes it look like you took it at face value. If you did, I have some land I'd like to sell you.
I would bet that Day Day wasn't leaving the bench no matter what.
That was the roughest game under the basket I have seen in about 5 years. I hope after going through most of his career free of serious injury Green can recover prior to the Big Ten tournament.
Its time for Wood and Appling to fill the void
ACL sprain out 2-3 weeks
just a guess

Maybe Mateen can loan Day Day his Coogie sweater from '99 this weekend.
my uneducated and uninformed opinion is that he'll be fine.
we're in the immediacy of the injury. by thursday or friday it will be flexible, low swelling, etc. he'll be ok.
Wondering that myself - no ice, no supporting him when he tried to stand up. Looked like they checked him for any instability and didn't seem all that concerned. Weird.

Where are people hearing this?
NIce thought but without Green this year is doomed.
There is NOTHING good about this, IMHO.
Thornton at the 4, good god this is going to be awful.
And what would they have done with him in the locker room, doc? There was nothing to be gained by bringing him to the locker room.
sorry, it was just a guess on my part. i changed my post
Every knee injury is different and I don't pretend to be an expert. That said I've had major blowouts on both knees (ACLs) and in both cases I could walk after a few minutes. Just not a ton of stability.
So no idea but can't be good.

Can we simply sign Prince Fielder to make up for Green's crippling injury?

Tough to tell, remember the flagrant foul on Delvon last year when it looked like his knee was totally hyperextended. Don't think he missed a game.
I don't even want to think about Draymond Green's career ending like this. But sure seems like it's a possibility.

Let's pray this is true!
you're a miserable little one aren't you?
This. Both knees for me too. Actually did this to my knee over winter break, 3+ weeks out since surgery and still a little swollen. Let's hope he is nowhere near this kind of injury.
You're pulling out of your ass what you believe the injury is. Fuck off.
