Basically, CBS is paying 247 for recruiting information. They do not own any of the network.
Interesting...I wonder what's going to happen with MaxPreps.com

As if they'd give tRCMB anything.
"CBSSports.com and 247Sports.com, a college sports and recruiting network, are striking a partnership based in part around the latter's content. The Tennessee-based 247Sports.com will provide material to CBSSports.com and become an official partner of the site"
Actually, I just haven't read/heard anything about CBS having a stake in 247. Everything I've read has been a content sharing agreement. Kind of like how Spartantailgate.com was an ESPN affiliate for a while...
