The only three I applied to. Tech was not an actual option, they kind of hounded me to finish the app (which was free) so I did. Only applied to Purdue because I wanted to be a Mech Eng. It really wasn't a choice, I am a life long Spartan.
Guess the California schools don't care about grammar.
Accepted to MSU
Went to MSU
Knew I was going to MSU since I was TWO
duffy hasn't attacked this post yet? He's slipping...
MSU and CMU. I wanted to go into advertising and CMU didn't have a program, or something, after I originally feared MSU was to big. Then I said screw it I want to be a Spartan and that was that. It was important to have gotten out of the boonies and spent time with people who weren't all exactly like me.
Accepted at MSU but had the chance to do college track & field at a smaller school.
Went to nationals twice, graduated from smaller school and a few years later got my MA from MSU.
It all worked out.

I picked MSU. Not sure why Oregon accepted me, but it was a confidence booster. AF sounded cool, but it was way too far from home. Honestly, the only reason I applied to other colleges was because I was afraid MSU wouldn't accept me.
I moved around a bunch when I was young. The only constant thing was my weekend visit to EL every week - and at one point I lived 5 hours away. State is and always has been home to me.

Tough love is in effect here|We won't accept you as you are|Instead, we will show you a vision of what you could be and help you achieve it
MSU, and then a bunch of others because my parents made me so I'd have options, got into MSU in a jiffy, sent my acceptance the next day without even thinking about it.
MSU and MSU
You're actually going to brag about getting a 24 ACT and using affirmative action to get into low tier elite schools? The worst score I ever had in an individual ACT category was a 29. What's impressive your collegiate accomplishments? You are really embarrassing. Way to rep MSU positively.

I can't even imagine applying anywhere else. Wanted to be a teacher since 6th grade. MSU is kinda good at training teachers. Did even look at any other apps. No other visits. Nothing. Green All Day.
University of Michigan: Keeping ugly girls out of East Lansing since 1837!
He should have went to UM with that attitude, like my former friend who went to UM with a 22 ACT just because her parents threw money at the situation. Then trashed me because I went to State despite that I got into UM on my own with a 32 ACT and good grades.

Sounds like she was destined to go to U-M. Let me guess, not only is she a bitch but also un-godly ugly???
MSU, SCum, purdont, and Duke. I thought that I was going to have a NROTC Scholarship. My parents went to MSC where they met and that was where I was headed regardless. Once Green.....always Green.
God yes, ugly, fat, and a bitch, the real trifecta. And trust me, we dodged a bullet, she had accepted MSU until the last second donation from her parents got her into UM.
I wrestled at GRJC a bit and got a degree in graphic design, knowing I would go to State- Legacy, #1 program. I started all over at MSU as a 3rd gen Spartan, 3X Study Abroad. My niece will be a 4th generation Spartan next year- 14 MSC/MSU grads in the family. Another took classes at MSU while attending Oberlin and Harvard. My daughter is looking at MSU, Alma, Bowdoin, Kalamazoo, and a few other smaller schools. She'll be another 4th gen Spartan.
My kids were told at an early age that the only way they could go to the school near Hell, MI was if they had a full-ride. I would not sign a check to that fecking institution.

Third Generation Spartan, est. 1937 -------
Spartan by Birth, Spartan by Design.
More people, and more Spartans, should better understand the original mission of MSU's charter (Signed by President "Baberaham" Lincoln). MSU should NEVER become like that school to the east. MSU is to serve the middle class, being "ELITE without being ELITIST".
umich has tried to impede or block MSU's very existence and progress, from the beginning all through our history including the new MSU hospital in GRR. umich even tried to block various name changes. Screw those "Arrogant Asses" (thx Coach Rodgers)
Bro... Stanford didn't let you in? Weak.
