His fat guy waddle isnt funny enough?
It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van.
Did you watch TCU against Texas? We might not get a 1d from anyone not named Bell. I expect a 17-14 type game
yeah, I saw it. I also saw them against Oklahoma. 2 very good defenses against inept offenses. No ass kicking but I think MSU's offense may do just enough. 13-10.
"If you have the right to be offended I have the right to offend you." - Ricky Gervais
These match-ups don't look good on paper but remember these bowl games can be pretty flukey. Teams have a month to prepare so coaching will have a lot to do with it. Any momentum a team might have at the end of the year pretty much goes out the window when you don't play again for another 4-5 weeks. The month-long layoff also gives teams a chance to rest up and possibly get any key players back from injury. That could benefit some teams more than others.

Okie State and Texas Tech will put up 50 on Purdue and Minny,
And they play in a conference that passes 90% of the time...
Which makes it all the more surprising that there are #6 nationally in rushing attempts against per game. MSU, fyi, is #2.
I'm leaning toward Purdue. Okie Lite can put up some serious points. I also think UGA is going to go to pound town on poor Nebraska.
If OK state punts more than 4 times against Purdue, ill be shocked
Nebraska or Purdue.
all that's left is a picked over corpse after Wisky mauled them last night.....thinking some big red fans want Pelini gone bad enough to hope they lose again by 40 to get rid of him. Shoulda known husker fans....all football coaches named 'bo' are shit bags.
Nebraska or Minny for sure.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Nebraska. Pissed SEC team (ala what Alabama did to us) with an outstanding offense and defense vs a fraud B1G team with a terrible defense. This will not end well for the Cornholers and will be another huge black eye for B1G football.
I could see every B1G team losing their bowl game...some by large margins too.
"I love March!" - Tom Izzo
How would you like to be Northwestern. Here you are poised to go the the Cap One Bowl, they've said they are taking you, then, bam, you get Delanyed and you're in the Gator Bowl. Delany and company are supposed to be looking out for all the B1G teams and showing no favoritism. But Michigan was looking at a Gator Bowl and he just couldn;t have that.
South Carolina and Georgia are going to each roll by a minimum of 3 TDs.
Why in the fuck would you take NU over Michigan? Michigan beat them and had a similar record and is INFINITELY more attractive of a pull $ wise with the giant fan base.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
Yep. I could easily see UGA scoring a TD on every first half possession.
UGA can be a Dow Joneser... If they "just" show up, they may lose!
Look I get your point but in a league where Defenses regularly give up 60 plus points it's hard to take any of them seriously. You see this as more of a Boise State type game?
Your question is unclear.
When Nebraska lost, the Cap One's choice became Northwestern or Nebraska, as I assume you know, because the Huskers have two more wins than UM.
Therefore, the Outback became the best bowl UM could qualify for. I agree that it doesn't strike me as particularly odd that UM would get picked over NU as soon as Neb. was locked into the Cap One.
But if the poster you were replying to was complaining about the sudden reversal re: Nebraska to Cap One, I have no idea why that was.
We also shouldn't forget though that for awhile TAMU to the Cap One was a lock as well, and that didn't happen either.
"When I was in school they told me practice makes perfect. Then they told me nobody's perfect. So I stopped practicing." --Steven Wright
You do know that that TCU only gave up 23 points per game in said league, right? This game has 20-17 written all over it.
I also saw them give up 37 at home to Iowa State. I don't know what to make of it. I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm no analyst I don't know how it will go.
This is what I am worried about. TCU gets a month to study our defensive tendencies for thier offense. Of course our defense gets a month to study TCU as well. I call this a wash. However TCU defense gets a month to prepare for our inept offense and our inept coaching staff on offense gets a month to pick thier noses. Advantage in a huge way TCU.
after the Big Ten Championship game...Nebraska against Georgia.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
The games I saw Stanford play, they did a good job of making in-game adjustments. That is a big weakness for Wisconsin, as their head coach is an idiot and doesn't understand that concept.
Besides us and NU I don't think any team has a shot at winning. Our games are no locks either, but give the conference a shot at a win or two. It's possible we don't win any of these games either.
