Back to the drawing board.
Jim Tressel – The former head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Tressel was forced to resign three months before the start of the 2011 season for lying to the NCAA about student athletes receiving tattoos and cash for signed memorabilia. According to the NCAA, he had four chances to tell the truth and failed to do so. For this, he was given a five-year show-cause penalty (until December 19, 2016)
and a motorcycle.
Well as Tim Staudt would say, I don't have many five year plans left in me.
Further investigation, Tressel would have to serve a 5 game suspension and bowl game. Open the check book. Let him recruit ohio and western PA.
he is only banking 250 k at his current role right? haha a pipe dream at best
To answer the OP's question, I'd settle for a can of creamed corn, or possibly a magic eight ball.
Photo on strike.
Well we have seen Cook run the option
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Any offensive coach from the 103 teams ABOVE us in points per game. Enough is enough, fire this fucking guy.
Find out the top teams for Total throughout NCAA Division I-A college football in 2012.
"You make sure when you come, you got a little blood in your eye, a little blood in your eye, a little fire in your belly. We there yet?"
I'm MORE convinced than EVER he won't fire him after today: for crissakes he COVERED for him in the presser about the pass play at the end: if need be, he'll go down with him I guess....as someone said earlier, pretty similar to JLS and SMeland:eerily similar

Pat Shurmur is perfect. Old coach here, offensive line guy, been in the NFL for a while. Dont see a down side
edit: in response to Tressel
Hollis should be on the phone right now. It would piss off the SCum rats so much. F it, no one cares about recruiting crap anymore, why not. Its not like he's Sandusky or Joepa. They set the bar so high everyone will look like a choir boy now.

The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
I don't really know if Tressel is a option. Nor do I know if he would take a OC job. But if the money is right, he might. If successful wouldn't be here long. But he would help recruiting a ton. He fits coach D's run the ball, play physical, style of play. Whoever it is, it needs to be a guy with a record and we need to pay da man.
TRESSEL? jesus h. christ....you guys picked a great day to start sniffing GLUE.
lol.... i know, fuck me.
Except for the fact that he's an NFL Head Coach and becoming a college OC is a huge step down.
Indiana's HC has a LOT to do with that...he is the real driving force in their offense.
But the Browns are gonna clean house with the new ownership. He's taking a step down regardless.
I think we go get Jim Bollman. His offenses at OSU didn't wow anybody, but they'd have won every game this season.
