Great town. Worth the trip.
this is a measure up game for Spartans and Spartan fans...time to prove if you're a fan. It's easy to get to a Florida bowl game, but this game is definitely a put your money where your mouth is bowl game.
Lots of us out here in the southwest are happy to have a chance to catch a game.
Yes, if I find a reasonable priced flight
Was planning on Desert Mountain in February. Don't think I can go that close to the holidays.
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
FYI, Allegiant Air and Spirit Airline fly into Mesa Gateway Airport. You may find a better airfare with one of these carriers.
My 12 year old son is a huge State fan. I may have had something to do with that. A 12 hour drive based on Google maps; so probably 14 hours. Figure I can pay for the best tickets they have, stay 2 or 3 nights and the cost isn't really that bad. Only thing that would suck is the drive.
I'm considering it...trying to work it out with other holiday plans.
Am currently planning on it.
Andy, lemme know your travel details so we can hang bro....
IF anyone is up for a cool adventure like hiking Grand Canyon or hitting Sedona then lemme know...

I can't swing it, as much as I would like to. The cheapest flight from Chicago that would work for me is $608. The reality is that i can't justify spending $2,000-$2,500 when you figure travel, hotel, car, tickets, booze and food for the wife and I to see a 6-6 team in a shitty bowl. I would rather make a bigger donation to the Spartan Fund next year than go to the bowl game.
If I can find cheap airfare, I'd probably go.
Killer. I live in Tucson, but for the first time in many years i've committed to spending xmas week in MI with my parents. They'd die if i changed my plans.
Once again, it'll be tv for me. Rose Bowl 1/1/14, and i'll be there.
