I say no.
no - he is due.
I think this will be his last start (unless he heals up enough for a bowl game). He'll try to do too much, try to exorcise some demons, and back side pursuit is going to wreck him. My guess is that Marcus Rush or Max Bullough will make the final tackle of Denards career.
Takes a vicious blind side hit from a Isaiah Lewis safety blitz. Comes out for a bit, goes back in.
Two years ago Greg Jones was going to rip his head off, lAst year gholston tried to and this year bama was supposed to send him home in abody bag. I think denard comes out of this game sore but uninjured as he always seems to.
I hope he gets rocked hard! I hope its clean of course. He is their only offensive weapon. Take him out early, then the 10-7 win is possible. Some SCum ass clowns I know have said Will won't finish the game. Fuck that. He and the rest of our D need to destroy DEEEEEEnard and the gnat Toodrunk. Fuck SCum. Beat these assholes!
He didn't finish the game last year though.
I guess I never associated that w injury, figured they stuck Gardner in because it was over. Wasn't he pulled after Lewis's pick 6 and not due to injury?
Just watched a reply yesterday. He went out after Rush fuckpounded him into the turf, the series after Lewis sixed him.
He played one more play after that.
Robinson's day ended late in the fourth when he was thrown down by Marcus Rush, who was called for roughing the passer. The Michigan quarterback stood on the sideline, green grass stains all over his uniform, as the Spartans finished off another win over the Wolverines.
Ah yes, the memory brings a tear to my eye
Hate UM all you want, but Denard is a tough dude for all of the hits he takes.
This isn't the I heart Denard thread.
UM is actually in a tough spot. They've limited his passing since the ND debacle and let him run more frequently. That's ok against Purdue or Illinois, but regardless of how mediocre you think our team is overall our D is at a different level than those teams. He's going to take some serious hits.
Reminds me of Hines Ward. Can do Kid
The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare.
No. Maxwell will finish the game....in victory formation.
Yes. he is a tough football player... I'd rather have him play the entire game than have him injuried after the 1st quarter. All the U of M slappies will use "not having denard" excuse or calling us thugs.

Best question asked by anyone during SCum week. And I presume it doesn't mean he won't finish because SCum is ahead by so much, subs are being rotated in. I presume that isn't the unsaid presumption here.
Denard has had nine lives. I thought he met his maker when they played Alabama and he was down writhing in pain. Numerous other times it looks like he wouldn't come back in the game. The latest was last week when he hurt his friggin' throwing hand for Pete's sake. But he came back in. The man is tough. Give the devil his due.
This week is going to be different for him. I have to assume that Denard will not throw effectively and our secondary will not allow any meaningful gashes through the air. The only match up that concerns me is with their freshman tight end, Devin Funchess, who is a stud and smooth as silk for his size. So, SCum is going to understand MSU will try to do what it has done the last two years and force him up the middle. Denard has had his way with most other teams up the middle thanks mostly to that punk, Taylor Lawan, who I can't stand his guts, but he's so far been a hell of a force on their o-line.
But that ain't happin' on Saturday. Our defensive line will stay home, slow him down, and linebacker are going to punish him all day long. All bets are off, however, if they are effective on those short play actions passes. Funchess has great hands and can, if we let him, kill us all day.
So, short answer, he won't make it all the way.
I don't think it's the play action that will hurt us...it's those quick slants.
Denard's effectiveness through the air is directly proportionate to the amount of protection he receives in the pocket. If there are Spartans bleeding through the line, his accuracy will approach ND game levels. If he has time, he has a strong enough arm and the capacity to be accurate. If the Spartans are able to hurry him or flush him out of the pocket, Michigan fans will be nervous. He doesn't make great decisions under pressure.
It's a good point, but I'm thinking that, with the startegy to stay home on running plays, SCum will have to freeze the linebackers and throw the short pass "behind" them. But I take your point.
Just win, baby. I'll deal with the whining by SCum because that's going to come, anyway---no matter how we win or why we win.
He seems to go down in pain and sit out almost every game now. Is he just a flopper or is he that tough or a quick healer or what?
Our O line can't even go half a season without an injury, but he can go 3-4 years doing what he's doing without missing a fuckin game? I hate denard and its not like he'll have an NFL career anyways
He may not finish the game if his head is twisted off by a human piece of trash while pinned under a pile of bodies. Most cowardly act out of a player I've ever seen.
