"Working" from "home" for me.
Well, back in the day I did. Not so much now. Have fun!
Nope, don't have to!
Well even if you had a schedule conflict, you know Michigan is going to lose anyway.
When was the last time MSU had an early game? For the past 4-5 years, I've gone out with friends so I assumed this year would be no different. Then I found out the start time. Some of the guys are taking their laptops to the bar and 'work'. I don't have that luxury. I'll just check in from time to time on the TV's at work.
Spending the afternoon at the Palace on Thursday.
I can't say this is the right answer, but I remember going to the bar at noon to watch the game where Popeye Jones went off on MSU.

Slightly different issue here in england... since your clocks went forward ahead of ours... we are now only 4 hrs ahead... so would have worked on the thursday all day and had friday off... but because of the early game start... It means I now work half day thursday... and half day friday......
it is going to be weird going to a sports bar here for a 4.20pm tip....
Bout to ask my boss for the time off right now.
Uh... Check your ticket. KBS pickup is March 27-30. So it is next week. I am trying to save you a drive.

Same here. No way I'm missing out on watching the game
Boom! Will be watching the game at the bar Thursday!
All for losing 2 hours of vacation....totally worth it though.
why would anyone take a day off for the first round of the NCAA? If MSU gets to the Elite 8, then yes it's worth taking a day off. But not for the first round.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
dammit, you are correct. Not sure why I thought it was this week. Guess I am getting anxious.
Now I'm not sure where I will watch the game, but I'm still taking a 1/2-day.
Don't have to work til 5 so it's me my couch and unhealthy foods til then.
Yep, skipping some classes :D
Already got it off.
took vacation last Thursday through end of this week. Basketball vacation, pretty much.

Got Thursday and Friday afternoon off.
I don't get paid hourly, I have a bunch of vacation time banked, and I love watching college basketball when I would normally be at work.
Just found out, I have a 1pm meeting with our Director.
Who schedules a 1pm, when BBall is on?
Si vis pacem, para bellum ---
The Elite 8 is played on the weekend so there is no need to take off work plus nothing beats the first 2 days of the Tourney.
I will be taking a half day on Thursday. But also I have an errand to run at the courthouse so it works out well.
A man's gotta eat!
I'm actually taking the day off to stain the parts for my outdoor kitchen, I'll be watching the game between coats.
